Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use markstudios.com. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We don’t claim full conformance: we test, fix what we find, and keep going.
What we do
- We check pages with automated tests (axe-core), with the keyboard alone and for colour contrast, at desktop and phone sizes.
- Every page has a “Skip to main content” link, labelled form fields and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Animations follow your device’s reduced-motion setting, and moving strips can be paused.
- We don’t use accessibility overlay widgets.
Known gaps
- Video captions. Many of our portfolio videos don’t have captions yet. Short-form clips often have captions burned into the picture; talking-head, podcast and wedding samples mostly don’t. We’re adding captions, starting with the video pages.
- Third-party content. Embedded YouTube videos, the Cloudflare human check on our forms and the Cal.com booking window come from other companies, and we can’t fully control how accessible they are.
- Older blog posts may have charts or images whose text descriptions are shorter than we’d like.
