Event photographer in Palm Beach County

Mark Studios photographs galas, conferences, fundraisers, launches and award nights anywhere in Palm Beach County, and across Broward and Martin counties too. You get guests at the backdrop, candids across the room, the speakers and the details, edited in-house into one gallery, and the same booking can film the night as well.

The record of the night, and the marketing after it

An event photographer has two jobs at once. One is the record: who came, who spoke, who was honored, and what the room looked like after months of planning. The other is the marketing: the frames a sponsor will want in its report, the portrait a guest will post that night, the image that sells next year's tables.

We cover both, and we edit every frame ourselves. Mark Studios has 10,000+ edited projects and 4,500+ reviews behind it, so the gallery is selected and finished in-house rather than handed over as a card of raw files. Because we also film events, the photos can come from the same booking as the recap video, with one look across both.

Mark Studios photographed Sovereign Self-Defense's Fourth of July gala in the ballroom at PGA National Resort and filmed the same evening. The ten photos below come from the edited set we delivered: guests checking in, the stage and the marquee letters before the room filled, portraits in front of the décor, candids at the bar and the dance floor once the band started. Guests are not named.

The highlight reel from the same night, frames from it and the full case study are on our event videography page.

“I have been working with Mark for probably about four or five months and it has completely changed the way that we do business. It is so much easier to know I have somebody on my team that has excellent quality for vision and videography and photography and all the awesome things that he does.”

Samantha Borgos, Sovereign Self-Defense

What's included

  • Coverage hours set in the quote. You decide how long we stay, from the first arrivals to the last song. The hours, the arrival time and any breaks are agreed in the quote before you book.
  • Arrivals and the room. Check-in, guests coming through the doors and the room as it was set before it filled: the frames that tell people where they were.
  • Step-and-repeat and backdrop portraits. Guests, VIPs and sponsors photographed at your backdrop through the evening, so sponsors get their logo in the frame and guests get a portrait worth sharing.
  • Candids. Conversations, toasts, laughter and the dance floor, photographed without stopping anyone mid-sentence.
  • Speakers, panels and award moments. Welcome remarks, keynotes, panel discussions and the handover of every award, shot from positions worked out from the run of show.
  • Venue details. Décor, centerpieces, table settings, signage and sponsor displays, the parts of the night a committee spent months on.
  • An edited gallery. The strongest frames selected, color-corrected and retouched where needed, delivered as finished files sized for web and print.
  • Social-ready crops. Vertical and square versions of the best images, sized for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, so nobody has to recrop them on a phone.

Galas, conferences, fundraisers and launches

Galas and award nights

A gala is mostly people in their best clothes, so portraits matter: at the backdrop, at the tables and with the honorees. We follow the program for the awards and the speeches, then catch the room once the music starts.

Conferences and summits

A conference needs every speaker on stage, the panels, the audience and the hallway conversations that show the event was worth attending. We plan the day from the agenda so the main sessions are covered and nothing important clashes.

Fundraisers and nonprofit evenings

A fundraiser runs on thanking people. The photos from the night go into donor emails, the annual report and next year's invitations, so we make sure the board, the major donors and the moments of giving are in the set.

Launches and corporate parties

Product launches, client evenings, company milestones and holiday parties for businesses across the three counties. Leadership photographed cleanly enough for a press release, the product in good light, and enough candids for the team channel.

How booking event photography works

  • Tell us about the event. The date, the venue, the run of show, roughly how many guests, and what the photos are for: sponsors, press, social, an annual report, or all of them.
  • Get a scope and a quote. Every event is scoped on its own and we do not publish fixed rates. The quote sets the coverage hours, whether a backdrop portrait spot is needed, whether video is added, and the date your gallery is delivered.
  • Agree the shot list. The speakers, honorees, sponsors and VIPs who must be photographed, any group photos and the moments that cannot be missed, agreed in writing before the day.
  • Photograph the event. On location anywhere in Palm Beach, Broward or Martin County, from arrivals to the end of the coverage you booked.
  • Edit and deliver. We select and edit the gallery in-house and deliver it on a private link, with the social crops alongside, on the date set in the quote.

Photos and the recap film from one booking

If the event needs video as well, booking both from one studio saves you briefing two vendors, keeps the photographer and the camera out of each other's shots and gives the photos and the film one look. We plan the coverage together: who stands where for the speeches, when the portraits happen and which moments the recap needs.

See event videography in Palm Beach County for what we film, the gala highlight reel and how the recap is delivered. For the video, standard delivery is 5–7 days after the event, with expedited delivery available; the gallery's date is set in the same quote.

What an event photographer costs

It depends on the run of show, and the hours are set in the quote. A reception or an award presentation may need a couple of hours; a gala usually needs arrivals, the program and the first part of the dancing; a conference may need the whole agenda. Send us the schedule and the moments you cannot miss, and we will scope the hours around them.

Yes. We plan a portrait spot at your step-and-repeat or backdrop and photograph guests there through the evening, alongside candids around the room. At the gala on this page many guests were photographed at the sponsor backdrop; the selection here shows the rest of the room instead.

Yes. Event videography can go in the same booking, so one studio delivers the photos and the recap film with a consistent look. That is how we covered the gala at PGA National Resort. For the video, standard delivery is 5–7 days after the event, with expedited delivery available.

The delivery date for the edited gallery is set in your quote and confirmed before you book, so it can be planned around a sponsor report, a press release or a thank-you email to guests. Tell us the date you need the photos when you ask for a quote.
