Photographer in Palm Beach, Florida

Mark Studios photographs benefit evenings, residences, boutiques and private-client firms on the island of Palm Beach, and edits every frame in-house. Quiet on the night, careful about who appears, and finished before anything is shared.

What gets photographed on the island

Palm Beach's season is a run of photographed evenings. From late fall into spring, charity galas and benefit dinners fill The Breakers and the island's clubs, the Society of the Four Arts and the Flagler Museum hold their programs, and the boutiques of Worth Avenue and Royal Poinciana Plaza host trunk shows and openings. The committee wants every honoree, sponsor and table chair photographed, the guests want to look their best, and the pictures go to donors, members and the society pages.

Off the calendar the work is quieter: interiors for designers and architects, estates photographed for a sale or for the family, collections for the brands on the avenue, and portraits for the family offices and wealth managers who keep a low profile. Every job starts from the same questions: who may appear, what stays out of frame, and who approves the selection before it leaves our hands.

What we photograph in Palm Beach

  • Galas and benefit dinners. Honorees, sponsors and table chairs at the backdrop, the program, the room and the guests, delivered as a selection the committee can share.
  • Season events at clubs and museums. Lectures, receptions and member evenings photographed without interrupting them.
  • Estates and interiors. Residences photographed for a sale, a designer's portfolio or the family archive, with the light balanced inside and out.
  • Worth Avenue brands and collections. Boutiques, products, trunk shows and openings, for lookbooks, press and social.
  • Private-client portraits. Principals and advisors photographed with restraint, for a website, a proposal or a profile.
  • Foundations and nonprofits. Programs, volunteers and the people served, photographed with dignity for appeals and annual reports.

Proof from a real shoot

Our most recent public gala was in a resort ballroom at PGA National, north of the island. We photographed Sovereign Self-Defense's gala at PGA National Resort and filmed it too, so photos and reel, What Patriotism Looks Like in 2026, came from one booking.

Photographed and edited by one studio

  • Scope and quote. What you need photographed, where in Palm Beach, when, and how the images will be used. We reply with a scope and a quote.
  • Plan. Shot list, people, locations, timing for the light and the number of finished images, agreed before the day.
  • Shoot on location. At your office, venue, property or event, with lighting brought in where the space needs it.
  • Select and retouch. The strongest frames, color-corrected, cleaned up and matched so the set is consistent.
  • Deliver. Finished images sized for web, social and print.

Permits and discretion on the island

The Town of Palm Beach requires a permit for any commercial photography on public property, from streets and sidewalks to parks and beaches. Applications go through the Town Clerk and need Town Council approval, so they take weeks, and most island shoots happen on private property instead. At a private event we agree the must-have list, the backdrop and its timing, and who signs off on the selection; guests who would rather not be photographed are left alone.
