The Short Answer: Website Redesign Cost
A website redesign costs about $3,000–$10,000 from a freelancer, $5,000–$25,000 from a boutique agency and $25,000–$75,000 or more from a full-service agency in 2026, according to 925 Studios' redesign pricing guide. Page-one Fiverr gigs start at $20–$295, and a redesign that has to keep your Google traffic adds $2,000–$10,000 of SEO migration work.
Those are other companies' published prices, read November 7, 2026, not ours. Mark Studios redesigns and rebuilds custom-coded websites and quotes each one for a fixed scope, so there is no Mark Studios price on this page.
The bands move with who writes them. LowCode Agency's guide, updated October 16, 2026, puts freelancers at $5,000–$20,000 and small-to-mid agencies at $15,000–$60,000. Houston studio CodeWCG says most small and mid-size businesses land at $3,500–$10,000 for a full redesign. The gap is scope, which the rest of this post breaks down.

A Fiverr search for "website redesign" returned 37,000+ results. Of the 43 redesign gigs on page one, starting prices ran $20–$295 with a median of $80, 38 of them were $100 or less, and 30 were WordPress gigs. A starting price is the gig's smallest package, so read what that tier covers before you set it against a $5,000 quote.
Hourly is the other way to buy. Upwork's web designer cost page says designers on its marketplace cost $15–$30 an hour, with full custom site design at $45–$75 or more, and expects anything from 10 hours for a very small project to several dozen for a large custom one. 925 Studios puts agency redesigns at 6–16 weeks. If you're weighing a marketplace freelancer against a studio, Fiverr vs Upwork vs an agency runs the platform fee math.
Refresh, Redesign or Rebuild: What Each Budget Buys

"Redesign" covers four different jobs. 925 Studios prices them like this:
- $3,000–$10,000, a basic refresh: a new visual design on an existing or purchased template (Webflow, Framer, Squarespace or WordPress) across 5–15 pages, with limited custom functionality. You provide the copy and brand assets, and there is no UX research.
- $10,000–$25,000, a strategic redesign: custom design for 15–30 pages, a basic UX audit, a restructured sitemap, wireframes for key pages and light SEO migration.
- $25,000–$50,000, a full-service redesign: adds content strategy, custom copywriting, full SEO migration, CMS content models and 3–5 rounds of revisions.
- $50,000–$75,000+, an enterprise redesign: adds multiple languages, CRM and marketing-automation integrations, WCAG 2.2 accessibility work and custom tools such as calculators.
CodeWCG draws the bottom line in the same place: below $3,500, "you're usually looking at a template swap with minimal customization."
Industry specialists publish their own ladders. PaperStreet, which builds law firm websites, quotes every package as a flat rate: its Essentials sites start around $3,000 for the first year including hosting and support, custom designs run $15,000 to above $25,000, and enterprise projects for large firms start at $40,000. Firms planning video for the new site can see that side on our page for law firm video.
The Costs a New Build Doesn't Have
A redesign replaces a site that already has URLs, rankings, inbound links and content. Each one carries a cost a brand-new site skips.
SEO migration. 925 Studios puts URL redirects, metadata migration, structured data and Core Web Vitals work at $2,000–$10,000 on a site with organic traffic. Google's site-move guide says to map every old URL to its new one, use server-side permanent redirects (301 or 308), and keep them "generally at least 1 year". It also warns that rankings can fluctuate during a move, and that a small to medium-sized site can take a few weeks for most pages to move. Our SEO cost guide prices the ongoing work after launch.

Copy. LowCode Agency puts agency-written copy at $200–$500 a page and says content is 20–40% of total project cost on content-heavy sites. 925 Studios notes that freelancers usually expect final copy from you before they design.
A rebrand. If the redesign doubles as a rebrand, 925 Studios adds $5,000–$20,000 for the brand work alone. Our logo design cost guide prices that piece.
Integrations and platform moves. LowCode puts a CRM integration at $3,000–$10,000 or more and a custom API integration at $10,000–$20,000 or more, and it places a move to a new CMS at or above the top of its enterprise range.
Photos and video. If the new design needs new images, price them on their own. Our brand photography cost guide covers shoots, and in Palm Beach County we can photograph your staff and space on location.
How to Get Redesign Quotes You Can Compare
Send these with your first message and the quotes that come back will price the same job:
- Page count and unique templates. 925 Studios notes that each unique template needs its own design, responsive breakpoints and development, so 10 pages on 3 templates costs far less than 50 pages on 12.
- Who writes the copy, and which pages get new copy.
- Keep the brand or rebrand: say whether the logo, colors and fonts stay.
- The platform: stay on your current one, or move, and who moves the content.
- Integrations: CRM, booking, email, payments or calculators.
- Your URL list and traffic: export your top pages from Google Search Console and ask for the redirect map in writing, with who sets it up and who checks it after launch.
- After launch: the support window (925 Studios says freelancers offer limited or none, agencies typically 30–90 days), who updates the site, and who owns the code and accounts.
Where Mark Studios Fits
We redesign and rebuild custom-coded websites with no page builders, set up to rank on Google and to be quoted by answer engines like ChatGPT. You get a flat quote for a fixed scope, not hourly billing, and at handoff you own the site, the code and every account. Because we also edit video, the homepage video and the site can come from one studio. Mark Studios has delivered 8,000+ orders for 4,500+ clients and is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating; whoever redesigns your site, get the page count and the redirect map in writing before you compare totals. Starting from nothing instead? Our small business website cost guide covers a new build, and the e-commerce website cost guide covers online stores.
The Bottom Line
A website redesign costs about $3,000–$10,000 from a freelancer, $5,000–$25,000 from a boutique agency and $25,000–$75,000 or more from a full-service agency in 2026, with page-one Fiverr gigs starting under $300. Page count, copy and SEO migration set the price, so put all three in your brief, and don't sign a quote that leaves out the redirect map.
