How much does a monthly video editing subscription cost?
Across 18 video editing subscriptions that publish their prices, the entry plan costs a median $1,100 a month. Entry prices run from $99 to $5,000, and the middle half sits between $736 and $1,848. The entry price here is the cheapest plan a buyer can start on month to month: we use the regular price where a provider marks a lower one as a limited-time offer, and the monthly-billing price where quarterly or annual billing is cheaper.
Prices are what each provider shows visitors on its own pricing page, read in a browser on October 25, 2026, and link to that page. None of them is a quote: most add-ons, rush delivery and footage above a plan's limit cost extra.
How much does each video cost on a monthly plan?
Where a plan states how many videos it includes, the price per video ranges from $54.32 to $575, with a median of $150 across the ten plans that state a count. The gap is mostly about what a video is: the cheapest per-video prices come with tight footage and length limits, while the most expensive include more story work, motion graphics and revisions.
Per-video prices are our calculation (monthly price divided by the videos included). The other four plans in the median, Editvideo.io Grow, VidChops Weekly, Creatorly Signature for two videos and Visugu Casual, are in the entry-price table above.
How much does a full-time editor cost through a subscription?
Four subscriptions sell a full-time or fully dedicated editor at a published price, from $2,499 to $4,000 a month, a median of $3,124. Each one is still a service: the provider hires, manages and replaces the editor, and its hours, revision and ownership terms apply.
Two more providers publish a starting price for a full-time editor or team rather than a fixed plan: Increditors from $4,000 a month, and VideoEditingCompany, whose team plans run from the Growth price in the entry table to $9,500 (Core) and $16,000 (Scale) a month.
Is it cheaper to pay quarterly or annually?
Usually, by 5% to 29%. Flocksy takes 29% off for annual billing, Clipmasters 17% for yearly, beCreatives 17% for quarterly and EditCrew 5% for quarterly. The catch is the commitment: a quarter or a year is paid up front, so a slow month still costs the same.
How much does it cost to edit one video without a subscription?
Per-video services price by footage length or video type. For a long-form YouTube video, published prices start around $249 to $350 and rise with the amount of raw footage; agencies that also write and produce charge $2,000 or more per video.
Podcast editors price per episode or per month. Next Day Podcast charges $160 an episode on pay-as-you-go or $480 a month for unlimited episodes of one show, so the unlimited plan pays for itself at 3 episodes a month. Full-service podcast agencies that add strategy and distribution start in the thousands a month.
Several do, usually on their middle or upper plans and alongside graphic design, with a queue shared between design and video requests. Their prices sit in the same range as dedicated editing subscriptions, except at the enterprise end.

What do the other plans on these price lists cost?
The rest of each provider's published plans, for buyers who need more than the entry tier. Limited-time prices are listed next to the regular price they replace.
We started from the questions people search for about video editing service prices and looked for the organization that actually produced each answer. Every figure on this page sits in an evidence ledger with its source, the exact table or paragraph it came from, the measurement period, the population measured, and the date we checked it. This edition holds 102 figures from 35 publishers.
On October 25, 2026, every price was read on the provider's own pricing page in a browser (Chromium, through Playwright), because most of these pages render their prices with JavaScript or hide them behind monthly, quarterly and yearly toggles; each price in the evidence table carries the sentence it appeared in. Where a page showed a crossed-out price next to a current one, both are recorded, and where it marked a price as a limited-time offer, the regular price is the one used in the medians.
We only cite the provider's own pricing page. The list started from the editing subscriptions, per-video services and podcast editors that AI answer engines and search results name for monthly video editing and editing costs, plus the providers on our comparison lists; we kept every one whose own site shows a price to visitors, and left out providers that quote only after a call or a form, AI editing apps, and freelance marketplaces where each seller sets the price. Every published price we read, including the ones not printed in a table here, is in the full price table (CSV). We did not sign up, book calls or bypass bot checks to see a price.
Figures marked "our calculation" are arithmetic on the cited numbers, and anyone can reproduce them:
monthly price divided by the number of videos the plan includes (VidChops credits counted as long-form videos; Visugu requests counted as videos), then the median

Limitations
These are list prices, not what buyers pay. Every provider here sells add-ons, rush delivery and extra footage on top, and some negotiate. Several plans are sold quarterly or yearly at a lower monthly rate.
Plans are not like for like. One plan counts videos, another counts credits, active requests or daily editor hours, and a "video" can mean a 60-second reel or a 20-minute YouTube edit. The per-video figures use only plans that state a video count, and the entry-price median compares the cheapest way in, not the same amount of work.
The sample is providers who publish a price. Agencies that quote only after a call, most production companies and freelance marketplaces are left out, and they tend to sit at the higher and lower ends respectively.
Prices change without notice. Every figure is dated October 25, 2026. Several providers were running limited-time prices that day, and those are labelled.
We chose the providers. They come from AI answers, search results and our own comparison lists for this question, not from a random sample of the market.
Mark Studios is not in the sample. We sell video editing, so our own prices are left out of every table and median on this page.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a video editing subscription cost per month?
Among 18 editing subscriptions that publish prices, the cheapest plan you can start on month to month costs a median $1,100. Entry prices run from $99 for a short-form credit plan to $5,000 for a dedicated team, and half of them sit between $736 and $1,848 a month, before add-ons and before any quarterly or annual discount.
How much does it cost to have one YouTube video edited?
On a monthly plan that states a video count, a median $150 per video. Bought one at a time, Tasty Edits charges $327 for a long-form video and Replayed a flat $349 for 16 to 35 minutes of raw footage, with thumbnails extra at both. The price rises with footage length, motion graphics and the number of revisions.
How much does a dedicated full-time video editor cost through a service?
Four subscriptions publish a full-time or fully dedicated editor at $2,499 to $4,000 a month, a median of $3,124: EditCrew Pro, Video Husky St. Bernard, VideoScale Scale and Vidpros Full Time. The provider hires and manages the editor, and its hour, revision and file terms still apply.
Are unlimited video editing plans really unlimited?
Unlimited usually means unlimited requests in a queue, not unlimited output. ShortVids' $999 plan works on one active request at a time, Flocksy prices by hours of editing a day, and The Editor's Connection's $699 unlimited plan runs on business hours. Check how many requests run at once and the turnaround per request.
Is it cheaper to pay for video editing quarterly or yearly?
Usually, by 5% to 29%. Flocksy takes 29% off for annual billing, Clipmasters 17% for yearly, beCreatives 17% for quarterly and EditCrew 5% for quarterly. The trade-off is paying up front: a quarter or a year costs the same whether or not you record that month.
How much does podcast video editing cost?
Next Day Podcast charges $160 an episode on pay-as-you-go or $480 a month for unlimited episodes of one show. We Edit Podcasts lists audio and video editing for four episodes a month at $1,800, and full-service podcast agencies such as Podigy start at $2,500 a month.
How often is this page updated?
Every price is read again on the provider's own page each quarter, and the page adds providers that start publishing prices. The Last verified date changes only after that check, every change goes in the change log, and corrections can be sent to contact@markstudios.com.
