YouTube Sponsorship Rates

What YouTube creators list as their sponsorship prices on public storefronts, what they say brands actually paid them, and what that works out to per 1,000 views. Every figure links to the creator or publication that published it, and the medians are our calculation from 159 listed prices on 60 channels.

How much do brands pay YouTubers for a sponsorship?

What creators say they were paid runs from a few hundred dollars to millions, and channel size explains only part of it. At the small end, college student Ayanna Bozeman told CNBC in 2017 that she made $220 for a dedicated review video and $50 for a product shout-out, with just over 27,000 subscribers, while Nia Wellman, with 94,000 subscribers, made more than $400 for each dedicated review (CNBC, July 2017). In 2020 nano influencer Laur DeMartino gave her YouTube starting rates as $300 to $500 per sponsorship (Business Insider), and Jen Lauren charged around $350 for a brand mention in a video (Business Insider). Software engineer Ritesh Verma wrote in January 2025 that three sponsors paid him $1,400 in one month (Business Insider).

Mid-sized channels report thousands per video. Jade Darmawangsa, with 381,000 subscribers, said in 2020 that she charged on average $2,000 to $5,000 per YouTube brand sponsorship (Business Insider). Jeremy "Disguised Toast" Wang said in 2018, with nearly 700,000 subscribers, that sponsored videos paid around $5,000 for a 30-second ad (Tubefilter). Jay Clouse put Creator Science's typical base rate for one sponsored video at around $3,000 in December 2024, at about 111,000 subscribers (Creator Science), and Colin Rosenblum said Colin and Samir's integration rate when they started out was probably around $1,200 (Creator Science). Blogger Ryan Robinson charged at most $2,500 per sponsored video in January 2026, at about 5,500 subscribers (Ryan Robinson), and in August 2026, past 154,000 subscribers, landed a $7,000 single-video sponsorship (Ryan Robinson).

Larger deals are usually contracts rather than single videos. English teacher Gabby Wallace, whose Go Natural English channel has 2.25 million subscribers, wrote that her largest sponsorship was a yearlong contract worth $40,000 (Business Insider). Men's style creator Alex Costa wrote that he landed one of his first six-figure brand deals, with Old Spice, about a year after leaving his job at YouTube (Business Insider).

What do YouTubers list as their sponsorship prices?

Some creators publish a price list. On Passionfroot, a sponsorship marketplace, creators run public storefronts with fixed prices next to the channel's subscriber count and views per video. On October 19, 2026 we read every public storefront we could find that showed a YouTube offer with a visible price: 159 offers from 60 YouTube channels run by 56 creators. The table gives the median across channels, using one price per channel for each format and US-dollar listings only.

FormatMedian listed priceChannelsMedian per 1,000 views per videoChannels with views
Integrated sponsor segment (a read or shout-out inside a video)$1,50051$59040
Dedicated sponsored video$3,00037$1,30729
Sponsored YouTube Short$1,05016$39212

Among the 32 channels that list both formats, a dedicated video costs a median 2.28 times the same channel's integration. These are asking prices, not prices paid. Passionfroot describes itself as built for B2B creators, and most channels in the sample cover AI, software, technology, productivity, business and design, audiences advertisers pay more to reach. Read the medians as what creators in those niches ask.

The storefronts also show how little subscriber count sets the price. Max Tech, with 1.3 million subscribers and about 92,000 views per video, lists a 30-second shout-out at $3,500, a 60-second one at $6,000 and an 8 to 10 minute dedicated video at $18,000 (Max Tech storefront). Linus Media Group lists a mid-roll on its 2.5 million subscriber ShortCircuit channel at $3,000 and a sponsored video at $40,000 (Linus Media Group storefront). Marina Mogilko prices an integration on Silicon Valley Girl, 1.6 million subscribers and 25.4K views per video, at $24,000, and one on Linguamarina, 8.9 million subscribers and 46.8K views per video, at $5,000 (Marina Mogilko storefront). Matthew Berman lists a traditional integration at $24,250 on a channel showing 62.2K views per video (Forward Future storefront).

How much does a YouTube sponsorship cost per 1,000 views?

Dividing each channel's listed integration price by its own views per video gives a median of $590 per 1,000 views across 40 channels, the figure in the table above. The middle half of channels list between $129 and $1,289 per 1,000 views, and the extremes run from $8.33 to $17,647. Listed prices follow what a creator thinks the audience is worth far more closely than how many people watch: a channel with a few hundred views per video can ask more per view than one with tens of thousands.

Channel size (subscribers)Median listed integration price per 1,000 views per videoChannels
Under 10,000$3945
10,000 to 99,999$59018
100,000 to 999,999$85613
1 million or more$4024

The bands do not move in a straight line, and the smallest and largest rest on five and four channels, so they show spread rather than a trend. Views per video is the storefront's own figure, synced from YouTube; a channel that posts rarely or whose recent videos underperformed shows a low number and a high price per view.

Do sponsorships pay more than AdSense?

For some channels they are the main income; for others a side line. Jay Clouse reported that Creator Science earned $22,099 from sponsor integrations and $28,727 from AdSense in 2024 through October (Creator Science). Ginny Silver wrote that in her channel's second year it earned $13,925 from sponsorships against $168,233.85 from YouTube ad revenue (Entrepreneur). At the other extreme, Ryan Robinson reported that $45,443.50 of his July 2026 income came from 12 channel sponsorships, with no ad revenue at all (Ryan Robinson), and in September a $20,000 sponsorship renewal from Bluehost (Ryan Robinson). In 2017 CNBC reported that Nia Wellman was making more than $1,000 a month from paid sponsorships and partnerships (CNBC).

What do the biggest YouTube sponsorships cost?

Court documents reported by Business Insider show the top of the market. In early 2024 a 30- to 45-second sponsored segment on MrBeast's main channel cost around $2.5 million on a company rate card, and adding a TikTok or YouTube Shorts video cost another half a million dollars. In mid-2024 the company said it had contracted $91 million in brand deals heading into 2025, including $15 million from T-Mobile for four video promotions and $12.5 million from Amazon for five main-channel ads. A late-2022 proposal asked Walmart for $8 million to $10 million to fund a single video (Business Insider). In 2026 Business Insider reported that marketers at Cannes Lions would compete for a $200,000 brand integration on Dhar Mann's main channel (Business Insider).

Do YouTubers have to disclose sponsorships?

In the U.S., yes. The Federal Trade Commission's guide for influencers, dated 2019, says a disclosure in a video endorsement belongs in the video itself (FTC, Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers). In 2023 the FTC updated its Endorsement Guides for the first time since 2009 (FTC). In October 2021 it sent a Notice of Penalty Offenses on endorsements to more than 700 companies, warning of civil penalties of up to $43,792 per violation (FTC). In December 2025 it said violations of its Consumer Review Rule, which also covers fake celebrity testimonials and fake social media influence, can bring civil penalties of up to $53,088 per violation (FTC). To get the Creator Partnerships tab, where YouTube's BrandConnect matches brands with creators, a channel owner must be at least 18 and in the YouTube Partner Program (YouTube Help).

How we built this page

We started from the questions people search for about youtube sponsorship rates and looked for the organization that actually produced each answer. Every figure on this page sits in an evidence ledger with its source, the exact table or paragraph it came from, the measurement period, the population measured, and the date we checked it. This edition holds 63 figures from 12 publishers.

On October 19, 2026, every listed price and views-per-video figure was read on the creator's public storefront, and every reported fee was matched word for word against the creator's own post or the interview that published it. Business Insider stories that are subscriber-only were used only through what Business Insider publishes free; seventeen gated stories we could not read are listed in the evidence table as blocked and are not on this page. We left out offers whose price a storefront does not show visitors, rate calculators, agency rate guides, and figures stated only aloud in videos.

We only cite the producer: the creator's own post or public sponsorship storefront, the interview in which a named creator gave the figure, and the FTC's and YouTube's own pages. We do not cite sponsorship-rate calculators, influencer-pricing roundups, or agency guides that quote ranges without data. The listed prices come from every public Passionfroot storefront we could find, through Passionfroot's own site and web search, that shows a YouTube offer with a price; we read each storefront on October 19, 2026, kept only offers whose price is shown to visitors, and sorted each offer into a format from its name and description. Every listed price and views-per-video figure, including the ones not printed on this page, is in the full disclosure table (CSV). We did not bypass paywalls or sign-up forms; where a Business Insider story was subscriber-only, we used only what Business Insider publishes free: the headline, its free newsletter, or its Business Insider Africa edition.

Limitations

  • Listed prices are asking prices. A storefront price is what a creator asks, not what a brand paid; deals are often negotiated, bundled or discounted.
  • The storefront sample leans B2B. Passionfroot describes itself as built for B2B creators, and most channels in the sample cover AI, software, technology, productivity, business and design. Lifestyle, gaming and entertainment channels are scarce.
  • Counts are small. The medians rest on 12 to 51 channels, and the subscriber bands on 4 to 18. One channel can move a band.
  • Views per video is the storefront's figure. It is synced from YouTube and shown rounded; we use it as displayed. Channels that post rarely show low views and therefore high prices per view.
  • Reported fees are self-selected and span years. Creators who talk about their rates choose to, from 2017 to 2026, and each fee carries its year.
  • Formats are our classification. We sorted each offer into integration, dedicated video, Short or bundle from its name and description; the offer name is kept in the evidence table.

Frequently asked questions

How much do YouTubers charge for a sponsorship?
Creators who publish a price list on a Passionfroot storefront ask a median $1,500 for an integrated sponsor segment and $3,000 for a dedicated video. What creators say they were paid ranges from about $220 for a dedicated review on a 27,000-subscriber channel in 2017 to around $2.5 million for a segment on MrBeast's main channel in 2024.
How much does a YouTube sponsorship cost per 1,000 views?
Dividing each creator's listed integration price by the channel's views per video gives a median of $590 per 1,000 views across 40 channels, with the middle half between $129 and $1,289. These are asking prices from a sample that leans toward B2B and technology channels.
Do dedicated videos cost more than integrations?
Yes. Among channels that list both, a dedicated sponsored video costs a median 2.28 times the same channel's integration. Max Tech, for example, lists a 60-second shout-out at $6,000 and an 8 to 10 minute dedicated video at $18,000.
How much do YouTube Shorts sponsorships cost?
Creators with storefronts list a sponsored YouTube Short at a median $1,050. MrBeast's 2024 rate card charged another half a million dollars to add a Shorts or TikTok video to a main-channel ad.
How many subscribers do you need to get YouTube sponsors?
There is no threshold. Ryan Robinson charged up to $2,500 per sponsored video in January 2026 with about 5,500 subscribers, and a creator with just over 27,000 subscribers was paid $220 for a dedicated review in 2017. Audience and niche matter more than subscriber count.
Do YouTubers have to disclose sponsorships?
In the U.S., yes. The FTC's 2019 influencer guide says a video endorsement's disclosure belongs in the video itself, and the FTC warned in 2021 that misleading endorsements could bring civil penalties of up to $43,792 per violation.
How often is this page updated?
Every figure is re-checked against its source each quarter, storefront prices are read again, and the page adds new creator disclosures when they are published. The Last verified date changes only after that check, and each change is recorded in the change log.
