Light the screen evenly and separately from the subject, pull the fabric tight to remove wrinkles, and keep the subject 3–6 feet in front of it so no shadow falls on it. Avoid green clothing and shiny props. Record at the highest quality your camera allows, with a flat or log profile if it has one, because edge detail survives better.
