Best Wanderlust Videos alternatives in 2026

The best Wanderlust Videos alternative for most wedding videographers is Mark Studios. Wanderlust's FAQ puts a first cut 5–7 weeks out, or 8–10 from June to December, and a Pro highlight starts at $621. At Mark Studios each film's first cut is due 5–7 business days after your footage arrives, three revision rounds come with every wedding, and the instant quote gives one fixed price per wedding before you pay.

Who wrote this: Mark Studios, which also ranks its own service first, so treat it as a comparison from a provider with a stake in the result. Facts about Wanderlust Videos and the other editors are quoted from their own websites, with the date we read them (how we compared). The Fiverr links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.

Our pick

For most wedding videographers, the Wanderlust Videos alternative to pick is Mark Studios.

Wanderlust runs each wedding through a project manager, an assigned editor and a QA specialist, and quotes a wait measured in weeks. Mark Studios works the other way round: Mark Santos, the founder, cuts the film, you write to him directly, and the clock runs in business days.

  • Weeks become days. Wanderlust's standard first cut takes 5–7 weeks and each revision typically 7–10 days. Mark Studios sends each film's first cut 5–7 business days after the footage arrives, and each revision round comes back in 24–72 hours, with rush at checkout.
  • Three rounds on every wedding. After your first project, Wanderlust includes two rounds on Pro and one on Lite, charges $40 for each extra round and bills Major Changes, such as a new soundtrack or another camera's footage, at $70–$220. Every Mark Studios wedding includes three rounds within the agreed scope.
  • One person from brief to export. Your notes go straight to Mark, who edits the film, and your house style is saved in a brand profile so the tenth wedding of the season cuts like the first. Exports carry no editor credit, and a mutual NDA is signed at no charge on request. Mark Studios is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating, 8,000+ orders and 99% on time.

We run the studio we picked, so give our card the scrutiny you'd give any seller's. Everything said about Wanderlust Videos and the 11 alternatives comes from their own pages, read on October 25, 2026 and listed under Sources.

Which alternative fits which videographer.

If the 5–7 week wait is the problem, three studios name a first cut inside about two weeks: E.V.Editor (5–9 days), Eterna Edits (a highlight from 7 business days) and Cut Pro Media (5–15 days, depending on the page). If it's the $621 Pro highlight, Wedcuts lists one from $180 and Motion Edits for $300–$375. Bride&Groom.video, Nobacklog and Uncut Gems keep Wanderlust's managed set-up with an account or project manager, EditWeddings bills only after you approve the edit, and Fiverr is there for a single wedding.

Set each price against Wanderlust's top row: $621 for a 3–5 minute Pro highlight or $404 for a 3–6 minute Lite one. Figures are the lowest each provider publishes for that film on its own site, read on October 25, 2026, and each Source link opens that page. Film lengths differ, so compare the minutes too.

The baseline

What Wanderlust Videos sells, and where its own pages disagree

Wanderlust Videos is the trading name of Afterwrap LLC, at a Westheimer Parkway address in Katy, Texas, with staff it describes as spread across 7 countries. Its homepage claims 700+ clients, 100+ editors, 10,000+ projects and more than 10 years in business. It sells post-production to wedding filmmakers, to photographers who want to offer video and, its FAQ says, to couples. Every project passes through three people: a project manager who is your contact, an editor matched to your style from a one-time onboarding questionnaire and a brief for each wedding, and a quality-assurance specialist who checks the cut before you see it. Its site blocks automated reads, so we read every page below in a browser on October 25, 2026, opening each film in the price sliders.

There are two tiers. Each film comes in several lengths, and the price rises with length and complexity from these starting points:

Pro includes the final videos plus the project file in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve, music licensed through Musicbed or Artlist (or your own cleared tracks), up to 1 TB of footage from any number of cameras, one export format and two revision rounds. Color grading and special effects, extra wedding days, footage over 1 TB, more export formats and extra rounds cost more. Lite is built on templates: you pick one of four styles (Ethereal, Classic, Edge or Epic), Wanderlust alone chooses the music from Musicbed, and each project covers up to 250 GB from two cameras with one export and one revision round; project files, a third camera ($150) and footage over 250 GB ($95–$285) are extras.

Its FAQ gives 5–7 weeks to a first cut as standard and up to 8–10 weeks from June through December, with the current estimate shown in Step 1 of the project wizard before you submit. Payment is due in full when you order. The terms then set several clocks: feedback on a Pro first cut within 14 days and on the second round within 7, or the project can be closed as approved; answers to its questions within 72 hours, or the project goes on hold; and, if you reserved an editor for a future wedding, footage within 10 days of the event. Changes it classes as Major (swapping music you chose or approved, adding another camera's footage, a new LUT, frame rate or film type) cost $70–$220 on Pro and up to $120 on Lite, an extra full day of coverage adds 30%, and Pro footage over 1 TB costs $190–$380. Discounts come from ordering two or more films from one wedding, booking three or more projects, a 5% Loyalty Club after six months of steady orders, installment plans and, in select cases, a price match.

On full payment you own the deliverables, project files included, no credit to Wanderlust is required, and it uses your films in its marketing only with your written consent. None of the pages we read mentions an NDA. Raw footage is deleted 7 days after a project closes, and the terms don't oblige it to keep project files beyond a month after delivery.

Where its pages disagree. Seven places, all read the same day:

  • Revisions on a first project. The FAQ promises unlimited rounds on your first project; the Pro-vs-Lite table says unlimited on Pro and two on Lite; the terms cap a first Pro project at four rounds and a first Lite project at two.
  • Buying more rounds. The FAQ prices extra rounds at $40 each with no limit; the terms let you buy at most two extra rounds per project.
  • Rush. The FAQ offers rush editing on social media teasers only, in 48 hours to a week for 30–50% more; the Why Wanderlust page offers a rush teaser within a week for 30% more; the terms allow a rush first cut on select projects, if the wedding is one day, the footage stays under 500 GB and you ask four weeks before the event.
  • How long files are kept. The FAQ says it keeps final cuts and project files after a project wraps; the Pro-vs-Lite table gives 30 days of file backup on Pro and 10 on Lite; the terms say it needn't keep project files more than a month after delivery.
  • Lite feedback window. The comparison table gives Lite clients 7 days to send feedback; the Lite terms allow 10 days for the first round and 7 for the second.
  • Hard drives and grading on Lite. The FAQ and homepage take a shipped hard drive with no tier named, while the comparison table marks drive uploads as Pro only; the Lite pricing page sells color grading as an add-on, while the Lite terms include a color grading preset.
  • Speed and focus. The homepage promises “fast turnaround times” and says wedding films are all it does; the FAQ quotes 5–7 weeks and says it also edits events, advertising, real estate and other non-wedding work, through a sister company, AfterWrap Studios, among other routes.

What Wanderlust Videos does well

  • The widest published menu here: 14 film types on its Pro price page, from an $89 save-the-date to a $981 archive film
  • Project files in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve with every Pro film
  • Up to 1 TB from any number of cameras on Pro, and a hard drive you can ship to Texas
  • A project manager and a QA check on every film, and no marketing use of your films without written consent

Why buyers look elsewhere

  • 5–7 weeks to a first cut, 8–10 from June to December
  • Two rounds on Pro and one on Lite after the first project, $40 a round after that, and Major Change fees of $70–$220
  • Paid in full up front; once editing starts it may keep up to 100% if you cancel, and refunds can come as credits
  • A FAQ and terms that disagree on revisions, rush and file storage

Moving your weddings off Wanderlust Videos: what to settle first.

Built from Wanderlust's terms of service (last updated July 9, 2026), FAQ and Pro-vs-Lite table, read October 25, 2026. File storage runs on the shortest clock, so start there.

  1. Download finals and project files within a month

The terms don't oblige Wanderlust to keep project files more than a month after delivery, and its comparison table gives 30 days of backup on Pro and 10 on Lite. Pull every final export, project file and music license onto your own drive now, whatever the FAQ says about keeping them.

  2. Treat raw footage as gone after 7 days

Raw media is deleted 7 days after a project is approved and closed. To re-cut an older wedding elsewhere, the cards have to come from your own backup; reopening a project there after that week costs a $70 retrieval fee plus $50–80 a video.

  3. Don't cancel a wedding that's already in the edit

Orders are paid in full up front. Cancel before editing begins and the money comes back less up to 20% in fees; after editing starts it may keep up to 100% of that film's price. Refunds can be issued as Wandercoins, which expire 365 days after they're credited, so spend any balance before you leave.

  4. Close open revision rounds on its clock

Feedback on a Pro first cut is due within 14 days and on the next round within 7 (10 and 7 on Lite), and a project left silent can be marked approved. Send final notes on every open film before you move, or pay $50–80 a video to reopen it later.

  5. Don't hire its editors directly

The non-solicitation clause bars you from hiring or contracting any editor or staff member you met through Wanderlust for 12 months after your last project, so a favourite editor can't simply move with you.

  6. Turn your onboarding questionnaire into a brief

Your style lives in Wanderlust's one-time questionnaire and each project brief. Copy your answers, your LUT, the music libraries you license from and two or three delivered films into one document for the next editor; the 5% Loyalty Club discount stays behind.

Best for: Videographers who want a first cut in business days, three rounds per wedding and the founder cutting the film

Model
Studio: one fixed price per wedding, by instant quote
Stated turnaround
First cut of each film 5–7 business days after the footage arrives; rush at checkout
Revisions
3 rounds per wedding, each back in 24–72 hours
Project files
Available on request as a paid add-on
Filming
On site in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties, Florida; travel elsewhere quoted per trip

Compared with Wanderlust Videos: the wait drops from weeks to business days, and the person you brief is the person who edits. Mark Santos, the founder, has made videos since 2011 and cuts the wedding films at Mark Studios, so your notes reach the timeline without passing through a project manager and a QA desk. In the instant quote you choose the films you want from the day (a 3–8 minute highlight, the full ceremony in real time, a reception film, a teaser, 9:16 reels), enter roughly how many raw minutes of footage they share and get one fixed price before paying; the minutes are checked against your files before work starts, and nothing is billed by the hour. Each film's first cut is due 5–7 business days after the footage arrives, with rush at checkout and peak-season dates confirmed in writing before you book. Every wedding includes three revision rounds within the agreed scope, each returned in 24–72 hours, with notes pinned to timestamps. Every camera is synced to the best audio source, guests' phone clips included, log footage is graded, and vow, officiant and speech audio is cleaned up. Your pacing, grade, music feel and title cards are saved in a brand profile, so a late-season wedding cuts like the first, and the next one is a reorder from your client portal. Exports are unbranded MP4 or MOV, a mutual NDA is signed at no charge on request, and source files are kept for 24 months; project files are available on request as a paid add-on. Footage arrives as a Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link or through a private upload page. Wanderlust's terms exclude on-site filming; Mark Studios also films and photographs weddings on site in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties, Florida, and quotes travel elsewhere per trip.

Where it beats Wanderlust

  • First cut 5–7 business days after the footage arrives, against 5–7 weeks (8–10 from June to December)
  • 3 rounds on every wedding, each back in 24–72 hours, against 2 on Pro or 1 on Lite at 7–10 days a round
  • You write to the editor, not to a project manager who passes notes on
  • A mutual NDA at no charge on request; Wanderlust's pages don't mention one
  • Wedding filming on site in South Florida, with travel elsewhere quoted per trip

Where Wanderlust wins

  • Every Wanderlust film has a published starting price; Mark Studios quotes each wedding
  • Project files come with every Pro film there; here they're a paid add-on on request
  • A wider menu there: save-the-dates, engagement films, filmmaker reels and vendor videos
  • Its terms keep your films out of its marketing unless you consent in writing; Mark Studios may show work unless you ask for a carve-out in writing

Compared with Wanderlust Videos: the same managed set-up, with an account manager in front and a second reviewer on every cut, on a shorter clock and with lower prices for the longer films. Bride&Groom.video promises a first draft within 14 days of the project start date, or 7 days for 30% more, against Wanderlust's 5–7 weeks. Its highlight costs $495 for 2–3 minutes, $595 for 4–9 and $660 for 10–19, close to Wanderlust Pro's $621 entry price, but a full documentary starts at $650 for 20–69 minutes where Wanderlust's starts at $801, and a ceremony or speeches edit costs $165 against a $441 ceremony clean edit. Color grading and licensed Musicbed or TrackClub music sit inside every price, where Wanderlust Pro bills grading as an add-on, and every order returns the project file in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Its revision rule mirrors Wanderlust Pro's FAQ: unlimited rounds on your first project and two after that. Extras are priced on the page: $100 for a two-day wedding, $50 past 1 TB of source files and $50–$100 for five or more cameras. Its homepage puts a first version at about 10 business days, while its ordering FAQ gives 15–25 business days for pre-ordered video projects; either sits well inside Wanderlust's 5–7 weeks. A 5-minute highlight starts at $395, a full documentary at $460, a ceremony at $110, speeches at $130 and a 60-second teaser at $115. Typical delivery is 2–4 weeks, around half of Wanderlust's standard wait, with an ETA posted in your dashboard. Your first project comes either at 50% off with one editor or at full price as a style match, two editors cutting the same wedding so you can choose one, who then stays on your account. Compared with Wanderlust Videos: a longer highlight for less money, turned round in days. Cut Pro Media's 7-minute highlight is $350 against Wanderlust Pro's $621 for 3–5 minutes; a 90-minute feature covering the full ceremony and reception with multi-cam sync is $280, and the pair is $520. Ceremony and speeches edits are $150 each as add-ons, and 10- and 15-minute highlights $400 and $450. The pricing page gives 5–10 days for the highlight and 7–12 for the pair; the US wedding page says a first cut in 10–15 working days, with revisions usually back overnight, against Wanderlust's 5–7 weeks and 7–10 days. The first wedding is risk-free: if the edit doesn't match your style, you don't pay. Read the terms before relying on the headline, though: the pricing page promises unlimited revisions, while the terms include two rounds requested within 7 calendar days, treat a film as accepted 7 days after delivery, keep footage for up to 60 days, and let it show your edits in its portfolio and ads unless you opt out in writing, the reverse of Wanderlust's written-consent rule. It edits in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve and returns the project file on request.

Where it beats Wanderlust

  • $350 for 7 minutes, against $621 for 3–5

Compared with Wanderlust Videos: E.V.Editor states 5–9 days for a finished edit, even at high volume, against Wanderlust's 5–7 weeks to a first cut. A 3–10 minute highlight is $330 ($250 on your first project, from $290 at partner rates), a 30–60 minute film $445, a film with a highlight $575 and that set with a 1–3 minute teaser $635, so a film-and-highlight order costs less than half of a Wanderlust Pro highlight and documentary ($1,422). A lead editor and a project manager review every video before you see it, and it says 94% are approved without a revision. Three free rounds can be used within a month of delivery, and the Premiere Pro project file comes back with the film. It calls the service 100% white-label and will work under an NDA or a service agreement, which Wanderlust's pages don't mention. You pay 50% before work starts and the rest on approval, through Payoneer, PayPal via Payoneer or Wise, where Wanderlust takes the whole price at checkout. Two wedding editors, Eugene and Valentyna, founded it in 2021.

A highlight of up to 6 minutes starts at $249 and up to 10 minutes at $329, a 20-minute short film and a 60-minute documentary each start at $329, and a highlight with a documentary is $550 before a further 5% combo discount; on Wanderlust Pro that pair starts at $1,422. Every package covers one to seven cameras plus drone footage and 10–12 hours of raw footage, grading to your LUTs or reference films, licensed music, two revision rounds, delivery from 480p to 4K and the project files. Its pricing page names the six things that can raise a quote (footage volume, camera count, film length, footage condition, deadline and extra films) and says the price is confirmed in writing before an editor opens a timeline. Turnaround is published in business days: a highlight from 7, longer films 7–30, against 5–7 weeks at Wanderlust. Wanderlust charges in full at checkout; EditWeddings invoices once you've approved the final edit, with 30 days to pay, and asks for no notice before a booking. Its packages are $549 for a 3–15 minute highlight, $699 with the full ceremony and speeches, and $799 with a full-length film of 45 minutes or more (also priced from £399 and €499), each with your choice of music and unlimited revisions; social teasers, USB delivery and other custom requests start at $99. The edit comes back within 21 days of the footage arriving, under half of Wanderlust's standard wait. It works behind the scenes: it deals only with you, puts none of its branding on exports and never shares your work publicly without permission, and offers a private showreel on request instead of public samples. Every film includes two revision rounds, the same as Wanderlust Pro after a first project. Its FAQ gives 3–4 weeks as standard, its price cards 2 weeks for trailers and speeches and 4 for documentaries, and $100 buys 1–2 weeks on most full films, against Wanderlust's 5–7 weeks and a rush its FAQ limits to teasers. Packages that add a one-minute trailer start at $325 with a highlight, and its page prices both the trailer-and-full-length pair and all three films from $350. Compared with Wanderlust Videos: no tiers, no onboarding questionnaire and no terms beyond each gig's. You compare wedding editors' portfolios, prices, delivery times and revision counts, order one film and decide afterwards whether to come back; Fiverr adds a 5.5% service fee to each purchase, plus $3.50 on orders under $200. That suits a one-off wedding, or a test of a new editor before you hand anyone a season, and a seller's stated delivery time can be days where Wanderlust quotes weeks. What Wanderlust bundles you arrange yourself: there's no project manager or QA check between you and the editor, and project files, NDAs and backup cover depend on the seller. Disclosure: Mark Studios sells on Fiverr too.

Where it beats Wanderlust

  • No account, tier or booking up front: pay per order
  • Pick a specific editor by portfolio and price
  • A cheap way to test before committing a season

Where Wanderlust wins

  • The service fee sits on top of every order
  • No project manager or QA review unless the seller offers one

How this list was put together.

Mark Studios wrote this page and lists itself first. No provider paid to appear, and we also sell on Fiverr, which is on the list. We don't publish a price per wedding, so our row and card say quote-based.

Who's included
Wedding editors a Wanderlust Videos buyer is likely to weigh, each with a published per-film price or a plain way to order: nine companies from our wedding video editing list that price each film (Bride&Groom.video, EditWeddings, Eterna Edits, E.V.Editor, Motion Edits, Nobacklog, Uncut Gems, Wedcuts and Wedwill), Cut Pro Media, which publishes flat wedding rates, and Fiverr. We left out services that bill by the hour, by raw footage, by application or by custom quote, since they can't be set against Wanderlust's per-film menu.
What we checked
Wanderlust's Pro and Lite price pages (every film in both sliders), Pro-vs-Lite table, FAQ, terms of service (last updated July 9, 2026), homepage, how-it-works, about, Why Wanderlust and customized pricing pages, then each alternative's own pricing, FAQ and terms pages, all on October 25, 2026. Wanderlust's site blocks automated reads, so we rendered it in a browser, and several FAQs needed each answer opened. Providers change prices without notice; confirm on the linked page before you send footage.
How it's ordered
Our own card comes first because it's our pick. The other eleven sit in four groups, from closest to Wanderlust's model to furthest: managed studios with an account or project manager, studios that state a first cut inside about two weeks, flat per-film packages, and a marketplace. Inside each group they're alphabetical, with no ranking beyond that.
What the numbers say

Wanderlust Pro is the slowest and dearest way on this list to get the usual pair of films. A Pro highlight with a documentary full film starts at $1,422 before its package discount, and every other studio here that publishes prices charges less for a highlight with a full-length film, from Wedcuts' $350 three-film package to $1,145 at Bride&Groom.video; Lite's highlight and rough cut, at $754, land in the middle. Its 5–7 week first cut is also the longest stated wait: the slowest alternatives top out at four to five weeks (Motion Edits' documentaries, Wedcuts' 30 days, Nobacklog's 25 business days for pre-ordered projects). For the wider field, including editors that bill by the hour or by footage, see our wedding video editing services list, and our wedding video statistics put the edit against what couples pay for the day.

Setting a quote beside Wanderlust's menu?

Tell the instant quote which films one wedding needs and how much raw footage the day produced. You'll get a fixed price to hold up against Wanderlust's per-film starting prices, and the first cut of each film lands 5–7 business days after your footage does.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best Wanderlust Videos alternatives?

For most videographers who outsource, Mark Studios: one quoted price per wedding before you pay, each film's first cut due 5–7 business days after your footage lands, three rounds of changes, and Mark Santos cutting the film instead of an editor matched to each project. If you want a managed studio like Wanderlust on a shorter clock, Bride&Groom.video promises a first draft in 14 days and Nobacklog charges nothing until editing starts. For speed, E.V.Editor states 5–9 days. For low prices, Wedcuts starts highlights at $180 and Eterna Edits at $249. EditWeddings bills after you approve, and Fiverr suits a single wedding.

How much does Wanderlust Videos cost?

On October 25, 2026, Wanderlust Pro listed a highlight from $621, a feature film or documentary full film from $801, a ceremony clean edit from $441, a reception clean edit from $621, an archive film from $981 and a social media teaser from $179, with smaller films down to an $89 save-the-date. Wanderlust Lite, its template tier, listed a highlight from $404, a feature film from $539, a rough cut from $350, a montage from $287 and a teaser from $116. Extra revision rounds are $40 each, color grading is an add-on, and Pro footage over 1 TB costs $190–$380 more.

What is the difference between Wanderlust Pro and Lite?

Pro is customized to your style: you can supply your own music, it takes up to 1 TB from any number of cameras, includes two revision rounds and the project files, and offers its full menu of films. Lite works from four style templates (Ethereal, Classic, Edge and Epic) with music chosen only by Wanderlust, covers up to 250 GB from two cameras, includes one revision round and charges extra for project files. Lite costs less per film: a highlight starts at $404 against $621 on Pro.

How long does Wanderlust Videos take to edit a wedding?

Its FAQ gives 5–7 weeks to a first cut as standard and up to 8–10 weeks from June through December, and says revisions typically take 7–10 days each; its terms say updated videos typically arrive within 7 days and a final file review can take up to 5 business days more. Rush is limited: teasers only in the FAQ, select projects in the terms, at 30–50% extra. Among the alternatives, E.V.Editor states 5–9 days, and Mark Studios sends each film's first cut 5–7 business days after the footage arrives.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Wanderlust Videos?

Yes, for nearly every film. A highlight with a full-length film, $1,422 to start on Wanderlust Pro, comes to $520 at Cut Pro Media (7 and 90 minutes), $550 at Eterna Edits before its combo discount, $575 at E.V.Editor and $800 at Wedwill, and Wedcuts packages a trailer, highlight and full-length film from $350. For the documentary alone, Uncut Gems charges $249 against $801. All prices were read on each provider's own site on October 25, 2026, and film lengths differ.

Can I cancel a Wanderlust Videos order or get a refund?

You can cancel at any time, but the refund depends on timing: before editing begins you get the price back less up to 20% in administrative and financial fees, once editing has started it may keep up to 100% of that film's fee, and nothing is refunded after final files are released or for dissatisfaction a revision could have fixed. Refunds can be paid in Wandercoins, credits that expire 365 days after they're issued. Nobacklog takes no payment until editing starts, and EditWeddings invoices after you approve.

Wanderlust Videos or Mark Studios: which is better?

Wanderlust Videos, if you want a published price for each of 14 Pro film types, project files with every Pro film and any number of cameras, and can book weeks ahead. Mark Studios, if the wait decides it: each film's first cut 5–7 business days after the footage arrives, three revision rounds on every wedding returned in 24–72 hours, a mutual NDA on request and Mark Santos cutting the film; it also films weddings on site in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties, with travel elsewhere quoted per trip. Mark Studios is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating, 8,000+ orders and 99% on time.
