The Short Answer: Wedding Photographer Cost in Palm Beach County
A wedding photographer in Palm Beach County costs about $1,000–$2,500 for one photographer covering 2–10 hours at published 2026 prices, and $3,300–$5,500 for a boutique photographer's 6–10 hour collections, with a second shooter at the top end. Nationally, The Knot puts the average at $3,000, and $2,700 in the South and Southeast. On Zola's West Palm Beach search, the median starting price is $1,800.
Those are other photographers' published prices, checked October 18, 2026, not ours. Mark Studios photographs and films weddings across Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties and quotes each wedding, so there is no Mark Studios price on this page.
Starting Prices on Zola
The first page of Zola's West Palm Beach results shows 25 photographers with a starting price. They range between $550 and $12,000, the median is $1,800, and 17 of the 25 start at $2,000 or less (our count). Zola lists more than 1,000 wedding photographers for the area, so this is a snapshot of the first page.

A starting price is a floor. It usually buys the fewest hours, one photographer and a digital gallery. The Knot's own spread shows how wide the real bills run: couples in its lower quartile spend $1,500 on photography, the median spends $2,800 and the upper quartile $4,700. The Knot also works the average out to about $375 an hour over an eight-hour day.

What Moves the Price
- Hours of coverage. This is the biggest line. Between 4 and 10 hours, each extra hour adds about $225 at Candid Studios (our calculation). Count from getting ready to the last moment you want photographed.
- A second shooter. One photographer can't be at the altar and the back of the aisle at once. Diana Cecilia adds a second shooter from her 8-hour collection, and Candid Studios prices a second photographer as an upgrade in each proposal.
- An engagement session. Diana Cecilia includes one in every wedding collection. Candid Studios includes one only in its 8-hour Signature package and otherwise books it as a $995 session.
- Albums and prints. These are usually separate. Look for album credits or print discounts inside the package rather than assuming they're included.
- Files and rights. Candid includes every original RAW file. Most photographers deliver edited images in an online gallery with a print release. Ask how long the gallery stays online.
- Delivery time. It ranges from 2–4 weeks at Candid Studios and 4 weeks at Diana Cecilia to 3–5 months at Jen Talesman. Get the date in writing.
- Travel. Diana Cecilia charges no travel fee within Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Candid Studios quotes travel upfront. Ask what a second venue adds.
How Many Hours to Book

Candid Studios says most of its weddings book six hours, and four to seven covers most celebrations. Use the guide above as a starting point, then check it against your timeline. Getting ready, a first look, the ceremony, portraits and the reception entrance can fill six hours before the dancing starts. A venue change between ceremony and reception adds travel time to the count.
How to Get an Accurate Wedding Photography Quote
Send these with your first message and every quote you get back will price the same day:
- The date, the venues and the start and end times you want covered.
- Your guest count, which sets the hours and whether you need a second shooter.
- The must-have moments: getting ready, a first look, family formals, a sparkler exit.
- What you want delivered: the gallery, an album, prints, RAW files, and by when.
- Whether you want video too. One booking for photo and film avoids two vendors, two contracts and two looks.
- Your budget range, so the photographer can show the package that fits instead of the cheapest one.

The Bottom Line

The national average is $3,000. Compare quotes on hours, shooters, the engagement session and the delivery date, not the starting price.
