Best-of list

Best Editvideo.io alternatives in 2026

Editvideo.io is the cheapest published way to get four long-form edits a month: $295 at its current limited-time price. People who shop around usually want what that plan leaves out, such as thumbnails and titles in the same price, credits that survive a slow month, or the founder working on every video. For them our pick is Mark Studios, with monthly plans from $750; Growth covers 4 YouTube videos with thumbnails, titles and SEO, plus 8 Shorts, for $2,000.

How this list works: Mark Studios publishes it and ranks its own service, so this is not an independent review. Every other option’s facts come from its own site, with the date we checked (how we compared). Some Fiverr links here are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no cost to you.

Our pick

Mark Studios is the best Editvideo.io alternative for most creators.

Editvideo.io sells the edit and not much around it: thumbnails and titles live in a separate add-on, and any credit you skip disappears when the billing month closes. A Mark Studios plan prices the packaging in with the edits, and Mark works on every video.

  • Thumbnails, titles and SEO built in. Editvideo.io sells thumbnails and YouTube SEO only as a management add-on, $175 to $495 a month on top of an editing plan. Every Mark Studios plan includes thumbnails, and Growth adds a title and SEO for each video.
  • Nothing lapses at month end. Editvideo.io's terms say unused credits expire when each billing period ends. At Mark Studios anything unused carries over one month, and you can skip a month you don't record at no charge.
  • Mark sets the style and keeps it. After your first month Mark writes down your style as a spec and applies it to every job, and he edits one of your recordings free before you pay, where Editvideo.io's free test is a 90-second sample.

Quick picks.

Start from the thing Editvideo.io doesn't do for you. If it's price, little beats $295 for four long edits; VidChops costs $495 for the same count but lets a credit become four shorts. If it's thumbnails and SEO in the plan, look at Mark Studios or VideoScale. For mostly Reels, The Editor's Connection starts at $119. Flocksy and Vidpros sell creative or editing hours, Tasty Edits sells one video at a time, Increditors runs the whole channel, and Fiverr and Upwork suit one-off jobs.

The baseline

What Editvideo.io sells, and why buyers compare it

Editvideo.io sells a fixed number of edits a month. Its pricing page, read October 25, 2026, lists three long-form plans at limited-time prices: Grow, 4 videos for $295 a month ($345 regular); Scale, 10 for $495 ($595); and Pro, 22 for $995 ($1,195) with two editors. Quarterly billing takes 10% off. Each long-form plan comes with a dedicated editor, 48-hour turnaround, unlimited revisions, subtitles on videos up to 20 minutes, social resizing, stock footage and music, Frame.io proofing, the project files and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Short-form plans cover 10, 25 or 50 shorts for $195, $395 or $695, each up to 90 seconds cut from at most 3 minutes of footage, and a full-time editor costs $2,950 a month.

Its terms and refund policy, both updated August 2026, set the limits. Credits reset every billing cycle and unused ones expire. A video with heavy motion graphics, custom animation or many revision rounds can take more than one credit, and you hear about it before work starts. Standard plans accept up to 45 minutes of raw footage per video; beyond that, delivery stretches to 72 hours, and a Sunday inside the window adds a day, since the editors work Monday to Saturday. It doesn't take animation or voiceover work, and thumbnails and YouTube SEO come only with its management add-on, $175 to $495 a month on top of an editing plan.

On price it is hard to beat: none of the subscriptions below publishes a lower monthly figure for four long-form edits. On Trustpilot it averaged 4.7 from 41 reviews on October 25, 2026; its own site shows 4.9. Buyers who compare it with others usually want something the plan leaves out, whether that's thumbnails and titles in one price, room for longer recordings or animation, credits that survive a quiet month, or a say in strategy from the person doing the edit.

Where Editvideo.io is strong

  • $295 a month for four long edits, the lowest published plan here
  • 48-hour turnaround, unlimited revisions and project files on every long-form plan
  • A free 90-second test edit and a 14-day money-back guarantee

Why buyers compare it

  • Unused credits expire at the end of each billing month
  • Thumbnails and SEO cost $175 to $495 a month extra
  • No animation, and 45 minutes of raw footage per video
  • The $295 is a limited-time price; the listed regular price is $345

Leaving Editvideo.io: a checklist.

Drawn from Editvideo.io's terms and refund policy, read October 25, 2026. The timing points matter most, because credits and refunds both run on your billing date.

  1. Use this cycle's credits before you go

Cancelling by email to support@editvideo.io keeps your account active to the end of the current billing period, and your credits stay usable until then. They expire when it closes, so queue the remaining videos early enough to get them back.

  2. Cancel before the renewal date

There's no notice period or cancellation fee, but part-months aren't refunded. The 14-day money-back guarantee covers only the first 14 days after your first purchase, not later renewals.

  3. Time a quarterly plan to its end

If you took the 10% quarterly discount, that payment can't be refunded once the first 14 days have passed, so plan the move for the end of the quarter you've paid for.

  4. Download videos and project files

Every long-form plan includes the project files. Save them, with your finished videos, from the shared Google Drive before your last billing period ends; the terms say files left behind after an account closes may be permanently deleted.

  5. Measure your footage against the next plan

Editvideo.io takes up to 45 minutes of raw footage per video. VidChops caps finished videos at 15 minutes, Mark Studios plans assume up to 15 minutes of footage per long-form edit (longer recordings are priced before the edit starts), and Video Husky's Eskimo plan fits raw footage under 60 minutes.

  6. Hand the new editor references

Pick two or three finished videos that show the pacing, captions and graphics you want. Under Editvideo.io's terms the final edited files are yours, so they can serve as the brief for whoever edits next.

Every alternative, set against Editvideo.io.

Mark StudiosOur pick

Best for: Mark on every video, with thumbnails, titles and SEO in the plan

Model
Agency: monthly plan or per project
Stated turnaround
Up to 7 business days per deliverable; first draft in 3 on Unlimited
Revisions
3 rounds on every deliverable
Commitment
Month to month; pause a month at no charge

Compared with Editvideo.io: slower and dearer per edit, but the month's packaging comes with it and nothing lapses. Mark Santos, a YouTuber since 2011, runs every project: he writes a style spec after your first month, then handles the cut, the thumbnails, the titles and the plan for the channel. The studio also makes animated explainers, which Editvideo.io's FAQ rules out, and films on location in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties. The four plans, from our plans page on October 25, 2026: Starter, $750/month, 1 long-form edit, 4 shorts and 2 thumbnails; Growth, $2,000/month, 4 YouTube videos, each with a thumbnail, title and SEO, plus 8 Shorts; Scale, $2,700/month, 4 long-form edits, 24 shorts, 8 thumbnails, a monthly content plan and first place in the queue; Unlimited, $3,500/month, unlimited requests worked one at a time, with a first draft of each in 3 business days. Anything unused carries over one month. Before you pay, Mark edits one of your recordings free (up to 15 minutes of footage, delivered finished). Single videos are priced in the instant quote.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • Thumbnails in every plan, and titles and SEO on Growth, with no add-on
  • Unused work carries over a month, and a month off costs nothing
  • A whole free edit of your own footage, not a 90-second sample

Good to know

  • Editvideo.io is faster and cheaper: four 48-hour edits for $295, against Growth at $2,000 with up to 7 business days per deliverable
  • 3 revision rounds here, unlimited there
  • Plans assume up to 15 minutes of footage per long-form edit (Editvideo.io takes 45), and project files are a paid add-on agreed before the edit

Stated turnaround

Revisions
Set per gig
Commitment
None: you pay order by order

Compared with Editvideo.io: you trade a fixed monthly count for paying one order at a time. That suits a channel that posts unevenly, because an Editvideo.io credit you don't use inside a billing month is gone, while a Fiverr order only exists once you place it. Sellers set their own price, delivery time and number of revisions, and Fiverr adds a 5.5% service fee at checkout, plus $3.50 on orders under $200. What you give up is the setup a subscription hands you: one editor who already knows your channel, a shared Drive and a proofing tool. Disclosure: Mark Studios sells on Fiverr too.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • No monthly fee, so a quiet month costs nothing
  • Specialists for jobs Editvideo.io turns down, such as animation or voiceover
  • Editors at every price point and delivery speed

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • You vet, brief and manage every seller yourself
  • No house standard like 48 hours or unlimited revisions unless a gig offers it

Upwork

Best for: Hiring an editor on terms you write yourself

Set by each freelancer, plus a 5% marketplace fee (Basic plan) and a $0.99–$14.99 contract fee
Stated turnaround

Agreed per contract
Commitment
Hourly or fixed-price contracts

Compared with Editvideo.io: you hire a person rather than subscribe to a queue. Upwork's Basic plan adds a 5% marketplace fee to each payment (3% for eligible US clients paying from a checking account) and a one-time contract initiation fee of $0.99 to $14.99; Business Plus charges 10%, or 8%. An hourly contract handles what a credit plan doesn't fit well: recordings longer than Editvideo.io's 45-minute raw limit, or a volume that falls between its 4, 10 and 22-video tiers. You can write deadlines, revisions and project files into the contract. There is no backup, though: if your freelancer is booked or leaves, nobody else is lined up.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • Deadlines, revisions and file handover written into your own contract
  • Hourly work for long recordings or uneven volume
  • Interview candidates and check past work before you hire

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • Marketplace and contract fees on top of the editor's rate
  • No account manager or second editor to cover gaps

Commitment
Billed monthly or quarterly

Compared with Editvideo.io: beCreatives drops the video count altogether. Instead of 4, 10 or 22 credits that reset each cycle, its Scale plan takes unlimited requests and revisions for $1,199 a month, or $999 on quarterly billing, worked on business days one request at a time, so your monthly output depends on how quickly you approve each edit. Clips under 90 seconds can come back in a business day, edits up to 10 minutes in one or two, and recordings up to an hour in two to five. Turning long videos into clips is included on every plan. Pro, the faster tier, is $2,299, or $1,999 quarterly.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • Nothing to use up or forfeit when the month closes
  • Recordings up to 60 minutes, past Editvideo.io's 45-minute limit
  • Clip repurposing included on every plan

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • $999 to $1,199 a month at entry, against Editvideo.io's $295
  • No published monthly video count, so ask what a typical month delivers

The Editor's Connection

Best for: Mostly Reels and Shorts, for less than Editvideo.io's short-form plan

Stated turnaround
2–3 days per batch on Limited; next day for 3 shorts on Unlimited tiers
Revisions
One round on Limited; unlimited on Unlimited tiers
Commitment
Month to month; upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time

Compared with Editvideo.io: for short-form it costs less. The Limited plan is $119 a month for four reels a week, each batch back in 2–3 days, where Editvideo.io's short-form Grow plan is $195 for ten shorts a month at its offer price. The weekly four don't carry over, much like Editvideo.io's credits, and Limited includes one round of revisions against unlimited on Editvideo.io's shorts. For long-form as well, Basic Unlimited at $699 a month quotes an average of 12–30 short or 4–8 long videos, sets no limit on duration and comes with a 15-day money-back guarantee. Its editors work Monday to Friday, 10 to 6 Central time.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • Four reels a week for $119, against $195 for ten a month
  • No duration limit on the Unlimited tiers, where Editvideo.io's shorts stop at 90 seconds
  • A 15-day money-back guarantee on the Unlimited tiers

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • One revision round on Limited
  • Unlimited tiers start at $699 and run requests one after another

VidChops

Best for: The closest like-for-like plan, with credits that stretch to four shorts

Model
Monthly subscription (credits)
Starting price
$495/month for 4 credits (4 long-form or 16 short videos)
Stated turnaround
1–2 days; revisions in 1 business day
Revisions
3 per video on Weekly; unlimited on Pro
Commitment
No contract; 14-day money-back guarantee

Compared with Editvideo.io: VidChops has the same shape, a set number of monthly credits and a dedicated editor, at a higher price: its Weekly plan is $495 for 4 credits, against $295 (or $345 regular) for Editvideo.io's four-video Grow plan. The extra money buys flexibility, since one credit is either a long video of 5–60 minutes or four shorts, and delivery in 1–2 days with revisions the next business day. It also has limits Editvideo.io doesn't: 3 revisions per video on Weekly, subtitles at $95 a month extra, and finished videos no longer than 15 minutes. Pro is $995 for 8 credits, with unlimited revisions and an account manager.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • One credit covers a long video or four shorts
  • 1–2 day turnaround, with revisions back in a business day
  • No contract and a 14-day money-back guarantee

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • $495 for four long edits, against $295
  • Subtitles cost $95 a month and finished videos stop at 15 minutes

Video Husky

Best for: A monthly tier with credit bundles as a pay-as-you-go fallback

Model
Monthly subscription, or prepaid credit bundles
Starting price
$849/month (Eskimo)
Stated turnaround
First draft within 3 business days
Revisions
Unlimited
Commitment
14-day money-back guarantee

Compared with Editvideo.io: you pay more for a looser count. The Eskimo plan, $849 a month, promises “6-10 simple videos” a month, where Editvideo.io's Scale plan names 10 for $495. Eskimo is built for exports under 20 minutes from raw footage under 60 minutes and 40 GB, more raw time than Editvideo.io's 45 minutes, and the plan page lists 4K as a poor fit. Your editor starts the next video once you approve the current one; the first draft is due within three business days, and Video Husky says 97.5% of requests take two or fewer. Siberian is $1,590 and St. Bernard $2,749, and credit bundles cover months when a subscription doesn't make sense.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • Credit bundles for months a subscription doesn't fit
  • Raw footage up to 60 minutes on Eskimo
  • A 14-day guarantee that lets you keep any videos already made

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • $849 for 6–10 simple videos, against $495 for 10 at Editvideo.io
  • The next video waits for your approval, and 4K is outside Eskimo's scope

Unlimited
Commitment
Pause or cancel any time; 14-day money-back guarantee

Compared with Editvideo.io: the entry plan includes the thumbnail that Editvideo.io sells only through its YouTube management add-on. Starter is $1,299 a month for unlimited requests and revisions handled one at a time, 2–3 business day turnaround, AI captions and a thumbnail per video. Growth, at $1,899, adds next-day turnaround, human-edited captions, up to three thumbnail options per video, YouTube titles, descriptions and tags, and a monthly strategy call; Scale, at $3,499, is a full-time editor. Quarterly billing takes 10% off and yearly 20%. Its delivery table gives Starter up to three days for a long-form edit under 30 minutes, slower than Editvideo.io's 48 hours.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • A thumbnail with every video on Starter
  • YouTube SEO and a monthly strategy call on Growth
  • Pause instead of cancelling in a month you don't record

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • $1,299 a month at entry, against $295

Commitment
None, but prepaid credits expire after 90 days and aren't refunded

Compared with Editvideo.io: Tasty Edits keeps the 48-hour turnaround and unlimited revisions and drops the subscription. You buy edits one at a time, $327 for a single long-form video, $305 each in a 4-pack or $278 each in an 8-pack, so four long videos come to $1,220 where Editvideo.io charges $295 a month. A thumbnail is $43 extra, and so is a vertical reformat. Prepaid credits still expire, but 90 days after purchase rather than at the end of a billing month, and its terms rule out refunds of any kind, where Editvideo.io refunds in the first 14 days.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • No plan: buy only the videos you publish
  • Credits last 90 days, not one billing cycle
  • The same 48-hour drafts and unlimited revisions

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • Four long edits cost $1,220, about four times Editvideo.io's Grow plan
  • No refunds, and thumbnails are $43 each

Stated turnaround
Not published; work runs on your daily hours
Revisions
Not stated on its pricing page
Commitment
Cancel any time; full refund within 14 days

Compared with Editvideo.io: Flocksy sells time instead of videos. Its 2 Daily Hours plan is about 42 hours a month from a dedicated designer, video editor, motion editor and illustrator, with copy support, for $1,699, or $1,199 a month billed annually. Unused hours roll over for up to 30 days while the plan is active, where Editvideo.io's unused credits lapse when the cycle ends. That pays off if you want thumbnails, social graphics and edits from one place. For long-form editing alone, Editvideo.io's Pro plan gets you 22 videos a month for $995.

Pros against Editvideo.io

  • Unused hours roll over for up to 30 days
  • Design, motion and video from the same dedicated people
  • A full refund if you cancel within 14 days

Cons against Editvideo.io

  • No per-video count or stated turnaround
  • Dearer than Editvideo.io if all you need is edits: $995 buys 22 there

Month to month; a $100 trial week rolls into the plan

Compared with Editvideo.io: Vidpros rents you an editor's time instead of a number of videos. Part Time is $1,000 a month for two hours of editing each workday, with overnight turnaround depending on complexity; Full Time is $4,000 for eight hours a day, and each editor takes no more than four clients. Stock media, simple thumbnails, AI captions and three months of storage are included, and you can send up to 40 GB of raw footage. There's no free trial, but a $100 trial week converts into the monthly plan. Its pricing page lists YouTube packages from $5K a month and social-media editing from $2.5K, both with 1–2 day turnaround, and the creator page says it isn't a fit for buyers who are price shopping or just starting out.

Pros against Editvideo.io

Method and disclosure.

We publish this list, and our own studio is the pick. Mark Studios also sells on Fiverr. Nobody paid to be included. Our row and card show our published plan prices; single projects are quoted.

Who's on it
Editing services an Editvideo.io buyer is likely to weigh, each with a public price or a plain way to buy: the five Editvideo.io names on its own comparison pages (VidChops, Video Husky, beCreatives, Flocksy and Vidpros), plus subscriptions, per-video and done-for-you services that come up for the same searches and AI answers, and the two largest marketplaces.
What we checked
Each provider's own pricing page on October 25, 2026, rendered in a browser where the prices load with JavaScript (Tasty Edits, VideoScale, Video Husky) or the site blocks automated reads (Upwork, Fiverr's help center, Trustpilot). Editvideo.io's pricing page, terms, refund policy and homepage were read the same day. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.
How it's ordered
Mark Studios first, as our pick. The rest are grouped by how you pay: marketplaces, monthly subscriptions, per-video packages, creative and editing hours, then a done-for-you channel service, alphabetical inside each group and not ranked.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best Editvideo.io alternatives?

For most creators, Mark Studios: plans from $750 a month with thumbnails in every plan, Growth at $2,000 for 4 YouTube videos with a thumbnail, title and SEO each plus 8 Shorts, and Mark on every video. For credits that also cover shorts, VidChops ($495). For mostly Reels, The Editor's Connection ($119). For unlimited requests, beCreatives or VideoScale. To pay per video, Tasty Edits or Fiverr. To hand over the whole channel, Increditors.

How much does Editvideo.io cost?

On October 25, 2026 its pricing page listed long-form plans at $295 a month for 4 videos, $495 for 10 and $995 for 22, all limited-time prices (regular $345, $595 and $1,195), with 10% off quarterly billing. Short-form plans are $195, $395 or $695 for 10, 25 or 50 shorts. A full-time editor is $2,950 a month, and YouTube management, which adds thumbnails and SEO, costs $175 to $495 a month on top.

Do Editvideo.io credits roll over?

No. Its FAQ, terms and refund policy all say video credits are allocated per billing cycle and expire when it ends. A complex video, with heavy motion graphics, custom animation or several rounds of revisions, can also use more than one credit, though you're told before work starts. Mark Studios carries unused work over one month, and Flocksy banks unused hours for up to 30 days.

Does Editvideo.io include thumbnails?

Not on its editing plans. Thumbnails come with its YouTube management service, sold only as an add-on to an editing plan: $175 a month for 4 videos (with YouTube SEO and 4 repurposed Reels), $345 for 10 or $495 for 22. Every Mark Studios plan includes thumbnails, VideoScale's Starter plan includes one per video, and Vidpros includes simple thumbnails.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Editvideo.io?

For long-form, not among published subscriptions: $295 for four edits a month is the lowest plan price on this list, and VidChops charges $495 for the same count. Short-form is different: The Editor's Connection's $119 plan covers four reels a week, against $195 for ten a month at Editvideo.io. Fiverr sellers can cost less per video, with Fiverr's 5.5% service fee on top.

Is Editvideo.io or Mark Studios better?

For creators who want the packaging handled and the founder on every video, Mark Studios: thumbnails in every plan, titles and SEO on Growth, unused work carried over a month, and Mark running every project; the studio is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating and 99% on time. Editvideo.io is better when price and speed come first: four long edits a month for $295, each back in 48 hours, with unlimited revisions.

Is Editvideo.io legit?

Yes. It publishes its prices, terms and refund policy in plain English, and it averaged 4.7 from 41 Trustpilot reviews on October 25, 2026 (its own site shows 4.9). Every plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, and you keep ownership of your footage and finished videos. Read the credit rules before you subscribe: unused credits expire each month. Our full Editvideo.io review covers the rest.
