Best-of list

Best VideoScale alternatives in 2026

The best VideoScale alternative for most creators and brands is Mark Studios. VideoScale starts at $1,299 a month for an unlimited queue worked one video at a time, and its terms name animation and motion graphics among the project types it can decline. Mark Studios plans start at $750 a month and say what you get (Growth: 4 YouTube videos, 8 Shorts and 4 thumbnails for $2,000), Mark Santos reviews every video, and the studio films on location in South Florida.

How this list works: Mark Studios publishes it and ranks its own service, so this is not an independent review. Every other option’s facts come from its own site, with the date we checked (how we compared). Our pick

For most creators and brands, the VideoScale alternative to pick is Mark Studios.

VideoScale is built around a queue: send as many requests as you like and assigned editors work through them one at a time, quickly. Mark Studios is built around its founder: Mark Santos sets a written style for your channel, reviews each video before it ships, and the plan says exactly what comes back each month.

  • A lower entry price, with a stated output. VideoScale's cheapest plan is $1,299 a month, and its plans state no video count. Mark Studios Starter is $750 for one long edit, 4 shorts and 2 thumbnails, and Growth is $2,000 for four YouTube videos, eight Shorts, four thumbnails, titles and SEO.
  • Animation is part of the job. VideoScale's terms of service name motion graphics, animation and VFX among the project types it can decline. Mark Studios makes motion graphics and animated explainers, and films on site in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties.
  • The founder answers for the work. VideoScale's editors work across several time zones; at Mark Studios you deal with Mark, who has made YouTube videos since 2011. Mark Studios is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating, 8,000+ orders and 99% on time.

If you'd rather know how many videos you'll get, Editvideo.io sells four long-form edits for $295 a month at its current offer and VidChops four credits for $495. Agencies that want an editor's time can buy EditCrew or Vidpros hours. To pay only when you film, use Replayed, Tasty Edits or a Fiverr seller.

The baseline

What VideoScale sells, and what its terms add

VideoScale sells unlimited editing by the month to creators and agencies; its founders started it while running a content marketing agency and a video production agency. The pricing page, read October 25, 2026, has three plans. Starter ($1,299 a month) returns first drafts in 2–3 business days, with AI captions, color and sound correction, stock assets and one thumbnail per video. Growth ($1,899) brings first drafts down to one business day and adds human-edited captions, up to three thumbnails per video for testing, YouTube titles, descriptions and tags, a monthly strategy call and a second brand. Scale ($3,499) is a full-time exclusive editor for 40 hours a week, several projects at once, unlimited brands, ClickUp chat and a white-label client portal. Quarterly billing takes off 10% and yearly 20%. Its delivery table gives Starter one short a day, up to 2 days for a video under 10 minutes and up to 4 days for one under an hour. Its page for creators puts output at 15–30+ videos a month, though no plan states a count. The FAQ promises no length limit, a pause option with credits kept, and a 14-day money-back guarantee.

The terms of service fill in the rest: work runs one video at a time, Monday to Friday from 9 to 5 Central; turnaround times aren't guaranteed; working files come only as Premiere Pro projects; and VideoScale reserves the right to decline or cancel a project that runs longer than the plan includes and falls under wedding videos, music videos, voiceovers, full podcast episodes, VFX, animation or motion graphics.

What VideoScale does well

  • First drafts in 1–3 business days, and the same day on Scale
  • No cap on requests, revisions or exports on any plan
  • Agency tools: unbranded deliverables, editor chat in your own Slack, and a branded portal on Scale
  • A pause option that keeps your credits

Why buyers look elsewhere

  • Price: $1,299 a month before a single video, with no output stated on the plans
  • The queue: one request at a time below Scale, so a busy week waits its turn
  • Scope: its FAQ names motion graphics tools, but its terms name motion graphics and animation among project types it can decline
  • Little independent proof: its Trustpilot page held five reviews on October 25, 2026

Leaving VideoScale: what to do before the last billing day.

Drawn from VideoScale's terms of service and pricing FAQ, read October 25, 2026. The date that matters is the end of your last paid term, because access to your files ends with it.

  1. Save finals, footage and brand kits first

A cancelled account keeps the service and its files until the paid term runs out, and the terms say there's no access to account files after that. Download finished videos and raw footage, and for agencies, each client's brand kit (fonts, colors, logos, intros and outros) that your editor built.

  2. Cancel by email, before the renewal date

Plans renew on their own. The terms ask you to email cancel@videoscale.co before the current period ends, and no refund or credit is given for part of a period.

  3. Ask for the Premiere Pro project files

If you may re-edit later or hand work to a new editor, ask in writing while you're still subscribed. The terms say working files, when you need them, come only as Adobe Premiere Pro projects.

  4. Know how the 14-day guarantee works

The pricing FAQ calls the money-back guarantee no-questions-asked, but the terms make it action-based for first-time customers: submit and approve two video projects, fill in the onboarding form and complete the evaluation, then request the refund.

  5. Pause instead, if you're coming back

The FAQ says you can pause at any time and that credits roll over while paused, which may suit a seasonal break better than cancelling and onboarding again.

  6. Withdraw the portfolio license if you want to

By default the terms let VideoScale show your work in its portfolio, logo block, social media and email. To revoke that, write to customer@videoscale.co.

Monthly plans with a stated output, or one project by quote
Stated turnaround
Up to 7 business days per deliverable; first draft in 3 on Unlimited
Revisions
3 rounds per deliverable
Commitment
Month to month, no minimum term; cancel online

Compared with VideoScale, Mark Studios costs less to start and tells you what each month returns. The plans, as published on our plans page on October 25, 2026: Starter, $750/month, one long-form edit with 4 shorts and 2 thumbnails; Growth, $2,000/month, 4 YouTube videos, 8 Shorts cut from them, 4 thumbnails, and titles with SEO; Scale, $2,700/month, 4 long-form edits, 24 shorts, 8 thumbnails, a priority queue and a monthly content plan; and Unlimited, $3,500/month, which runs like VideoScale's queue, one request at a time with a first draft inside 3 business days, for about what VideoScale Scale costs ($3,499). Every plan covers the cut, color, sound mix, captions, music and lower thirds in each aspect ratio you post, with 3 revision rounds per deliverable. The bigger difference is who does the work. Mark Santos, who has made YouTube videos since 2011, scopes each plan, writes your style spec and reviews every video before it ships. The studio also makes motion graphics and animated explainers, edits white-label for agencies under NDA, and films on location in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • $750 to start, against $1,299, with a stated output on Starter, Growth and Scale
  • Motion graphics and animated explainers, which VideoScale's terms name among projects it can decline
  • A thumbnail with every long-form edit, titles and SEO on Growth, titles and descriptions on Scale
  • On-site filming in South Florida, which VideoScale doesn't list

Where VideoScale wins

  • Speed: up to 7 business days per deliverable, against VideoScale's 1–3 for a first draft
  • 3 revision rounds per deliverable, where VideoScale's are unlimited
  • Each long-form edit assumes up to 15 minutes of raw footage; VideoScale sets no length cap
  • Posting, scripts and voiceover sit outside the plans and are quoted on their own

Unlimited queues, like VideoScale

beCreatives

Best for: The same unlimited model, with motion graphics, from $999 a month

Model
Unlimited subscription, one request at a time

$1,199/month (Scale), or $999/month billed quarterly
Stated turnaround
One short a day; long-form in up to 2–5 days by length (Scale)
Revisions
Unlimited
Commitment
Month to month, or quarterly for the lower price

Compared with VideoScale, beCreatives is the closest match in how it works, and a little cheaper. Its Scale plan costs $1,199 a month, or $999 a month billed quarterly, against $1,299 for VideoScale Starter, and as at VideoScale the revisions are unlimited while its editors take one request at a time on business days. The two part ways on scope: beCreatives lists animations and motion graphics, human-checked captions, color grading, an account manager and Slack on its entry plan, for up to 2 brands. Its turnaround table reads much like VideoScale's: one short a day, then up to 2, 3, 4 and 5 days for long-form under 10, 20, 30 and 60 minutes. Pro ($2,299, or $1,999 quarterly) brings those down to 1–3 days, and its top plan ($6,000 a month, $4,999 billed quarterly) adds white-label options and simultaneous requests, the agency features VideoScale keeps for Scale. Like VideoScale, it publishes no monthly video count.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • $999 a month on quarterly billing, against about $1,169 for VideoScale Starter on the same terms
  • Animations and motion graphics listed on every plan
  • Human-checked captions from the entry plan, where Starter uses AI captions

Where VideoScale wins

  • Long-form under an hour can take up to 5 days on Scale
  • White-label and simultaneous requests sit on a $4,999-plus plan
  • No video count on its plans, as on VideoScale's

Video Husky

Best for: Weekly editor hours with Premiere project files, from $849

Model
Weekly editor hours; projects worked one at a time
Starting price
$849/month (Eskimo, 10 hours a week)
Stated turnaround
First draft within 3 business days
Revisions
Unlimited
Commitment
No long-term commitment; 14-day money-back guarantee

Compared with VideoScale, Video Husky measures your plan in editor hours rather than open-ended requests. Eskimo is $849 a month for 10 hours a week, Siberian $1,590 for 20 and St. Bernard $2,749 for 40, which buys the full-time week of VideoScale Scale for $750 less. An Eskimo brief can carry up to 60 minutes of raw footage (40 GB, 1080p) and come back as a finished video of up to 20 minutes plus short cut-downs, with unlimited revisions and the Adobe Premiere Pro project files. First drafts arrive within 3 business days, and Video Husky says 97.5% of requests take 2 business days or less, about Starter's pace. Its Eskimo page is frank about fit: no 4K, no custom animation, and not for agencies that don't have the final say on approvals, so an agency would start at Siberian, which also adds 4K and YouTube thumbnails.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • Premiere Pro project files with the subscription
  • 40 hours a week on St. Bernard for $2,749, against $3,499 for VideoScale Scale
  • Up to 60 minutes of raw footage per brief on Eskimo, 120 on Siberian

Where VideoScale wins

  • Eskimo rules out 4K, custom animation and agency approvals
  • Thumbnails start on the $1,590 tier, where VideoScale Starter includes one per video

Stated turnaround
48 hours
Revisions
Unlimited
Commitment
No contract; quarterly billing saves 10%

Compared with VideoScale, Editvideo.io trades an open queue for a set number of edits at a fraction of the price. Grow is 4 long-form videos a month for $295 at its limited-time price ($345 regular), Scale is 10 for $495 ($595), and Pro is 22 videos with two editors for $995 ($1,195), still under VideoScale Starter's $1,299. Each plan lists a dedicated editor, a 48-hour turnaround, unlimited revisions, subtitles on videos up to 20 minutes, social resizing, all project files and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Shorts are their own plan, from $195 a month for 10 clips of up to 90 seconds; a full-time editor is $2,950 a month; and YouTube management with thumbnails and SEO is an add-on from $175. Two limits to read: credits reset every billing cycle, and its pricing page says videos with heavy motion graphics may use more than one credit.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • Four long videos for $295, under a quarter of VideoScale Starter
  • Project files and subtitles on every plan
  • A stated count, so you know what the month returns

Where VideoScale wins

  • Today's prices are a limited-time offer; the regular ones are $50–$200 a month higher
  • Unused credits reset each cycle, and heavy motion graphics can cost extra credits

Increditors

Best for: Creators who want strategy, scripts and publishing on top of the edit

Model
Monthly retainer with a 3-month minimum
Starting price
$2,500/month (Creator Starter, 4 videos)
Stated turnaround
3–7 days (Creator Starter)
Revisions
2 per video (Creator Starter); 3 (Creator Pro)
Commitment
Minimum 3 months on every creator plan

Compared with VideoScale, Increditors costs more, commits you for longer and takes on more of the channel. Creator Starter is $2,500 a month for 4 videos of up to 12 minutes, delivered in 3–7 days with 2 revisions and a thumbnail each. Creator Pro, at $5,500, adds custom motion graphics, color grading, sound design and publishing with SEO, and Creator DFY, at $9,500, adds a channel strategy, scripts and channel management. All three list a minimum 3-month commitment where VideoScale runs month to month, and unused videos roll over. Its creator page says it suits creators selling $1k–$10k+ programs who are willing to invest $6k–$20k+ a month, and not anyone price shopping.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • Scripts, strategy and publishing in one retainer on the upper tiers
  • Custom motion graphics from Creator Pro, a project type VideoScale's terms say it can decline
  • Unused videos roll over

Where VideoScale wins

  • $2,500 for 4 videos, against an unlimited queue at $1,299
  • Three months committed up front, and 2 revisions per video on Creator Starter

VidChops

Best for: A long video or four Shorts per credit, back in 1–2 days

Model
Monthly credits
Starting price
$495/month for 4 credits (4 long-form or 16 short videos)
Stated turnaround
1–2 days
Revisions
3 per video (Weekly); unlimited (Pro)
Commitment
No contract; 14-day money-back guarantee

Compared with VideoScale, VidChops sells a fixed number of credits for far less money. Weekly is $495 a month for 4 credits and Pro $995 for 8, and a credit is one long-form video of 5 to 60 minutes or four short ones, mixed as you like. Turnaround is 1–2 days, close to VideoScale Growth's single business day, with 3 revisions per video on Weekly and unlimited on Pro. Its limits overlap VideoScale's: the FAQ rules out voiceovers and 2D and 3D animation, a finished video can't run past 15 minutes, and subtitles cost $95 a month on any plan. A Full Time Editor plan, 40 hours a week with same-day turnaround like VideoScale Scale, is sold on a call with no published price.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • $495 for 4 long videos or 16 shorts, against $1,299
  • One credit can become four Shorts, so the mix can change each month
  • 1–2 day turnaround on the entry plan

  • 3 revisions per video on Weekly, and subtitles extra at $95 a month

EditCrew

Best for: Adobe project files with every delivery from a part-time editor

Stated turnaround
1–2 business days (Essentials); 24 hours (Pro)
Revisions
Unlimited, each back within 24 hours
Commitment
No minimum; 5 business days' notice to cancel

Compared with VideoScale, EditCrew prices the editor's week rather than the request queue. Essentials is a part-time editor for 15 hours a week at $1,599 a month ($1,520 billed quarterly), and Pro is a full-time editor for 40 hours at $2,499 ($2,375 quarterly), a thousand dollars under VideoScale Scale for the same 40 hours. Both include a project manager and a creative producer, unlimited revisions turned around in 24 hours, spell-checked subtitles, no limit on run time and the Adobe project files with each delivery. Hours reset weekly and don't roll over, cancelling takes 5 business days' notice, and its FAQ won't promise a video count, since output depends on how long each edit takes.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • 40 hours a week for $2,499, against $3,499 for VideoScale Scale
  • Adobe project files with every delivery, not only when you ask
  • Revisions back within 24 hours

Vidpros

Best for: An editor shared by no more than four clients

Model
Dedicated editor hours
Starting price
$1,000/month (editor 2 hours each workday)
Stated turnaround
Overnight on Part Time, depending on complexity
Revisions
Not stated on its pricing page
Commitment
Month to month; $100 trial week

Compared with VideoScale, Vidpros guarantees time with one editor rather than a place in a queue. Part Time is $1,000 a month for 2 hours of a dedicated editor each workday, with overnight turnaround depending on complexity, stock video and music, simple thumbnails, AI captions and 3 months of storage; Full Time is $4,000 a month for 8 hours a day. Each editor takes no more than 4 clients, and its editors work Tuesday to Saturday on Philippine time, so a request sent on a US evening can be back the next morning. It doesn't make custom motion graphics or animation and builds intros, end cards and lower thirds from templates. There's no free trial, but a $100 trial week rolls into the monthly plan.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • $1,000 a month, $299 under VideoScale Starter
  • A $100 trial week before the first full month
  • Simple thumbnails and AI captions inside the plan

Where VideoScale wins

Pay per video, no plan

Fiverr

Best for: Trying an editor on one order before any monthly plan

Model
Marketplace
Starting price
Set by each seller, plus a 5.5% service fee ($3.50 more under $200)
Stated turnaround
Set per gig
Revisions
Set per gig
Commitment
None; you pay per order

Compared with VideoScale, Fiverr has no plan unless the seller you pick offers one: you choose an editor, pay for a single order and decide afterwards whether to come back. Fiverr adds a 5.5% service fee to each payment, plus $3.50 on orders under $200, and every extra or tip carries its own fee. Price, delivery time and revision rounds are whatever each gig states, so a test order is an inexpensive way to judge an editor before committing $1,299 a month to VideoScale. The vetting is yours, though: there's no account manager or queue, and quality varies from seller to seller. Disclosure: Mark Studios sells on Fiverr too.

Where it beats VideoScale

  • No monthly fee; you pay per order
  • A different specialist for long-form, Shorts or thumbnails if you want one
  • One test video before any commitment

Where VideoScale wins

  • The service fee sits on top of every payment
  • No dedicated editor unless you keep rehiring the same seller

Best for: Paying only in the months you film, priced by footage length

Model

Usually a couple of days, per its FAQ
Revisions
1 hour free, then $35 an hour
Commitment
None; billed for the videos you order

Compared with VideoScale, Replayed charges for each video by the length of the footage you send, so a quiet month costs nothing. On its Junior+ tier a video cut from 20–30 minutes of unedited footage is a flat $249, and shorter or longer footage is billed at $35 an hour; senior editors charge $349 for 16–35 minutes, $559 for 36–60, or $49 an hour. Thumbnails add $89 and reformats $59, and each order includes an hour of free revisions before $35 an hour applies. Its FAQ puts delivery at usually a couple of days, with a live estimate before you order, and its app matches you with editors from your channel's style. How this list was put together.

We wrote this list and put ourselves first. Mark Studios also sells on Fiverr, and no provider paid to be included. Our row shows our published plan prices; a single video is priced in the instant quote.

Who's included
Editing services a VideoScale buyer is likely to weigh: the unlimited and credit-based subscriptions VideoScale's own comparison pages set beside it, plus plans sold by the editor-hour, per-video shops and a marketplace. Each one has a public price or a clear way to buy.
What we checked
VideoScale's pricing page, FAQ, white-label page and terms of service, and each alternative's own pricing page, all read on October 25, 2026: how you pay, the lowest published price, stated turnaround, revisions, the commitment and what each plan leaves out. Prices change, so confirm them on the provider's page before you buy.
How it's ordered
Mark Studios first, as our pick. The rest are grouped by how far they move from VideoScale's model: unlimited queues like it, then a set number of videos, then an editor's weekly hours, then paying per video. Alphabetical within each group, and nothing else is ranked.
What the numbers say

VideoScale's flat fee pays off only at volume. Send four long videos a month and Starter works out to about $325 each, roughly the price of one Tasty Edits order ($327); send eight and it falls to about $162. Against that, Editvideo.io's four-video plan comes to about $74 a video at its current offer, and each VidChops Weekly credit to about $124. Frequently asked questions

What are the best VideoScale alternatives?

Mark Studios is our pick: plans from $750 a month that state what you get, motion graphics and animated explainers that VideoScale's terms name among projects it can decline, and Mark Santos reviewing every video. For the same unlimited model for less, beCreatives (from $999 a month billed quarterly). For a set number of videos, Editvideo.io ($295 for four) or VidChops ($495 for four credits). For an editor's hours, EditCrew or Vidpros. To pay per video, Replayed, Tasty Edits or a Fiverr seller.

How much does VideoScale cost?

Three plans, per its pricing page on October 25, 2026: Starter is $1,299 a month (first drafts in 2–3 business days, AI captions), Growth $1,899 (1 business day, human captions, video SEO, up to 2 brands) and Scale $3,499 (a full-time editor, parallel projects, same-day delivery, a white-label portal). Paying quarterly saves 10% and yearly 20%. Requests and revisions are unlimited on all three, worked one at a time below Scale.

Is there a cheaper alternative to VideoScale?

Yes, if a set number of videos works for you. Editvideo.io edits four long-form videos for $295 a month at its current offer, VidChops sells four credits for $495, and Vidpros gives you two hours of an editor's day for $1,000. beCreatives runs the same unlimited queue from $999 a month billed quarterly. Mark Studios Starter is $750 for one long edit, 4 shorts and 2 thumbnails. All prices read October 25, 2026.

Should I pay monthly or per video instead of VideoScale?

Count your videos first. VideoScale charges $1,299 or more whether you send two videos or twelve, so it suits a steady, high-volume schedule. At two or three long videos a month, paying per video usually costs less: Replayed from $249 a video, Tasty Edits from $327, or a Fiverr seller. In between, a plan with a stated count, such as Editvideo.io or Mark Studios Growth, fixes both the price and the output.

Does VideoScale have a contract, and how do I cancel?

There's no long-term contract: plans run month to month and renew on their own. Its terms say you cancel by emailing cancel@videoscale.co before the current period ends, partial months aren't refunded, and access to your files stops when the paid term runs out, so download everything first. The 14-day money-back guarantee is for first-time customers who submit and approve two videos and finish onboarding. You can also pause, and credits roll over while paused.

Which VideoScale alternative is best for YouTube Shorts?

For Shorts on their own, Editvideo.io's short-form plan is $195 a month for 10 clips of up to 90 seconds at its current offer, and Tasty Edits charges $80–$94 per vertical video with 24-hour delivery. If your Shorts come from your long videos, Mark Studios Scale pairs 4 long-form edits with 24 shorts a month, and a VidChops credit can become four shorts. VideoScale Starter's typical schedule is one short a day.

VideoScale or Mark Studios: which is better?

VideoScale, if speed and volume decide it: unlimited requests, first drafts in 1–3 business days and no cap on video length. Mark Studios, if you want to know what each month returns, motion graphics or animation in the edit, thumbnails and SEO in the plan, filming on location in South Florida, and Mark Santos reviewing every video, from $750 a month against $1,299. Mark Studios is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating, 8,000+ orders and 99% on time.
