Best-of list

Best videographers in Stuart, FL (2026)

For most Stuart charters, boatyards, waterfront listings, firms and events, our pick is Mark Studios: Mark plans the shoot around the river and the weather, films and photographs on location, edits every cut himself with 5–7 day standard delivery, and puts each quote in writing. If you’d rather book a wedding team from Jensen Beach, a brand crew with a studio downtown, a sport-fishing photographer who has worked the Treasure Coast since 1988 or a listing walkthrough at a fixed price, the groups below say who to call.

How this list works: Mark Studios publishes it and ranks its own service, so this is not an independent review. Every other option’s facts come from its own site, with the date we checked (how we compared).

Our pick

Hiring in Stuart? Start with Mark Studios.

Stuart’s video work follows the St. Lucie River: charter boats near the inlet, boatyards and brokers along the two forks, homes where the water is the selling point, and a downtown of firms, restaurants and a stage around the courthouse. Palm City adds club and community events, practices and riverside weddings, and Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound sit in the same service area. Mark Studios covers it on location from Palm Beach County and edits every job itself, so the shot list and the final cut come from one person.

  • Planned around wind, glare and tide. Footage under way is agreed with your captain before the day, dockside interviews get the right microphones, and photos can come from the same visit.
  • Every deliverable in writing first. The main film, the vertical clips, captions, color and sound are listed before the shoot; standard delivery is 5–7 days, and an expedited date is available.
  • Mark edits what he films. He is Top Rated on Fiverr, with a 4.9★ average across 8,000+ orders and 99% of them delivered on time.

Filming in Stuart: what to plan for.

Four things that decide the paperwork for a shoot in Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach or Hobe Sound, from Martin County’s film office, the City of Stuart, Florida State Parks and the FAA, read October 23, 2026.

  1. County land: one permit for Palm City, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound

Martin County requires a film permit for any commercial video shoot on county public property, and its application form accepts locations in unincorporated areas only, which takes in Palm City, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound; shoots inside the City of Stuart, the Village of Indiantown or the Town of Jupiter Island go to those governments instead. The film office asks for the completed form and a certificate of liability insurance by email at least five business days ahead, and longer for fireworks, road closures, animals or aircraft. Its insurance terms are $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate for general and vehicle liability with the Martin County Board of County Commissioners as additional insured, workers’ compensation as Florida law requires, a waiver of subrogation, and $5 million when pyrotechnics or some stunts are planned. No county permit is needed for a commercial photo shoot, for filming for personal use, or for filming on private property with the owner’s permission. One detail to settle first: the film office’s pages give film@martin.fl.us, while the PDF form itself says efilm@martin.fl.us.

  2. Inside Stuart: the city’s own film permit and event rules

The City of Stuart has a separate film permit application for its public property, emailed to its community events specialist, and it asks for $1 million of general and vehicle liability cover ($5 million for pyrotechnics and some stunts) with the city as additional insured. When the shoot is part of an event, the city’s special event rules apply to any gathering of 25 or more people with a common purpose on public property or the right-of-way, and to outdoor activities on private property that draw large crowds or traffic. The 2027 rate sheet lists a $25 non-refundable application fee; public-property base fees from $75 for 25–100 people to $600 for 5,001 or more, with security deposits of $100 to $2,000 and filing 30 to 180 days ahead; a $50 base fee for private-property events filed 14 to 180 days ahead; and a $10 charge for each day an application is late. Extra-duty police cost $64 an hour per officer with a two-hour minimum, and a police boat is $30 an hour. Event insurance on public property is $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, naming the City of Stuart.

  3. State parks and preserves have their own owners

Several of the area’s best-known backdrops aren’t county land, and the film office sends those shoots elsewhere: it lists separate contacts for The Nature Conservancy’s Blowing Rocks Preserve and the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge, and says Florida State Parks wants a photography permit when a shoot would disrupt other visitors or for resource protection. The state’s request goes by email to the Department of Environmental Protection’s marketing and programming office, needs at least seven days and requires liability insurance, and staff then work out dates, times and fees with the park manager.

  4. Drones: a towered airport a mile southeast of the city

The FAA lists Witham Field (SUA) one mile southeast of Stuart with an airport traffic control tower, open 0700–2200, and Martin County’s film office tells drone operators to complete the FAA paperwork and contact the airport to request permission and notify the tower before filming. Under Part 107, a flight in controlled airspace below 400 feet needs an airspace authorization through LAANC or FAADroneZone; LAANC requests can be filed up to 90 days before the flight, while the FAA says DroneZone requests have historically taken up to eight weeks. For aerials of the river, the inlet or a boat under way, sort the authorization out well before the shoot day.

Every Stuart option, with pros and cons.

5–7 days standard; expedited available

In Stuart, Mark Studios films where the city earns its living: charter boats, crews and catches at the dock, and under way when the trip is planned with the captain; vessel walkthroughs, yard work and brand films for brokers and boatyards; listing films for homes on the river and the lagoon, with the interiors and the view balanced; interviews for law and professional firms near the courthouse; and downtown restaurants, shops and galleries, plus festivals, fundraisers and shows cut into a recap and clips. In Palm City the work is mostly club and community events, practice introductions, golf and tennis lessons and riverside weddings, and the studio covers Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound and the rest of Martin County as well. Mark plans calmer mornings for work on the water, adds photos on the same visit if you want them, and edits every version himself, from the main film to the vertical cuts, captions, color and sound, with 5–7 day standard delivery or an expedited date. Stuart is about 41 miles up the coast from the studio’s Palm Beach County base. Its nearest published shoots are Treasure Coast workshops, range days and veteran interviews for Sovereign Self-Defense, and that client’s Keep America Armed gala in the PGA National Resort ballroom in Palm Beach Gardens, filmed and photographed in July 2026 and cut into What Patriotism Looks Like in 2026. A February 2024 wedding in Deerfield Beach was a single booking too, delivered as four films and the edited photos. Across all its work, Mark Studios counts 10,000+ projects delivered and 4,500+ reviews, and it is Top Rated on Fiverr at 4.9★ with 99% on-time delivery.

From Samantha at Sovereign Self-Defense: “It has completely changed the way that we do business.”

  • Palm City club events and downtown firms covered alike

Not stated; files by online download link

Blair Elizabeth Co. is the wedding film business of Blair, who got her first camera at eight and now makes wedding, elopement and engagement films, with destination elopements and small weddings as her speciality. Zola lists the business in Hobe Sound, and her own site says she films around Palm Beach and the rest of Florida and travels further for destination dates, with the couple covering flights and hotels. A wedding starts at eight hours of coverage with up to two videographers and a mix of digital video and Super 8 film, edited into a 7–9 minute highlight film; a half-day of 4–5 hours returns a 3–5 minute film, and the shortest booking is a one-hour session with one videographer and a 1–2 minute film. Add-ons include a teaser, more Super 8 footage, full ceremony and speeches films, extra hours and a home-video edit. Every package is priced to order: her services page says weddings typically start at $6,000, while her Zola profile shows full weddings at $4,000–$6,000 and elopements at $3,000–$4,000. A 25% deposit follows the signed contract.

  • Elopement and half-day options
  • Listed in Hobe Sound, inside Martin County

DeLucia Media is a firefighter-owned production company in Stuart, and its owner plans each shoot, runs the camera and signs off the final cut, bringing in more camera operators and editors when a job needs them. SPLASH Productions is the one local company that Martin County’s film office names under Film Resources. It runs still and motion productions for brands, agencies and production companies, and describes its base as Florida’s east coast from Boca Raton through Palm Beach to Vero Beach, with crew it can call on in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Robert Holland, a photographer and more recently a director for over thirty years, is one of its two leads (his own site gives Miami and Stuart), and Emily, who left a big agency, keeps the productions running. Pre-production is the heart of the offer: an early visual plan, a breakdown of the shoot day, shot lists, crew from trusted teams across Florida, casting from real people and professional talent with releases handled, and locations from private homes and neighborhoods to beaches and parks, with permits, access and timing settled before anyone arrives. Its galleries cover brand reels, product videos, commercial spots, how-to videos, social shorts and corporate documentary, plus stills of lifestyle, senior living, healthcare, home and garden, and marine and automotive subjects, and the jobs on its home page include a national campaign for Snapper, TruGreen images for Brownstein Group and an apartment-living shoot for Resia.

  • Casting, locations and permits planned in pre-production

How we built the Stuart list.

This is Mark Studios’ list, and Mark Studios is on top of it. Nobody paid to be included, and our own shoots are quoted one at a time.

Who’s included
Providers that their own sites, Martin County’s film office, the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce, Eventective or Zola placed in or around Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound on October 23, 2026, grouped by kind of shoot, plus two marketplaces. DeLucia Media and Wide Angle Photo Video are in the chamber’s video and photo categories, Digital Motion Studios and Eclipse Videography have Stuart listings on Eventective, Blair Elizabeth Co. is the Hobe Sound team on Zola, SPLASH Productions is the company the film office names, and Driven Films runs a Stuart page from its downtown studio. We dropped what we couldn’t verify or what sits too far away: WRPB Studios, a Port St. Lucie studio in the chamber’s video category, still shows placeholder Lorem Ipsum text on its home page; Verola Studio’s Stuart listing on Eventective leads to a Vero Beach studio’s site; Lost Wave Media, which came up for marine video, is in Wilmington, North Carolina; and Living Proof Real Estate Photography, a Palm Beach County company, asks you to call for a price outside the county. Beverly Boy Productions, a national company with a Stuart page, is already on our Jupiter videographer list, so we left it there. The Knot, WeddingWire, Yelp, GigSalad and YellowPages blocked our checker, which is why Thumbtack and Zola are the marketplaces.
What we checked
On October 23, 2026 we read each provider’s own site for where it’s based, the shoots it takes, published prices, delivery and what a booking includes, plus the Zola, FindAPhotographer and chamber listings named on the cards, Eventective’s Stuart, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound videographer pages, and Thumbtack’s Port Saint Lucie and cost-guide pages. Do I need a permit to film in Stuart?

On public property, yes, and whose property decides which one. Inside the city limits, the City of Stuart has its own film permit application, and a shoot that is part of an event of 25 or more people on public property also needs a city special event permit, filed 30 to 180 days ahead with a $25 application fee and base fees from $75. On county public property, including Palm City, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound, Martin County’s film permit applies: send the application and a certificate of liability insurance to the film office at least five business days ahead. The county needs no permit for a commercial photo shoot, for personal filming, or on private property with the owner’s permission.

Can I fly a drone in Stuart?

Yes, with authorization. The FAA lists Witham Field one mile southeast of Stuart with an airport traffic control tower, and Martin County’s film office tells drone operators to complete the FAA paperwork and contact the airport to request permission and notify the tower. Part 107 flights in controlled airspace below 400 feet need a LAANC or FAADroneZone authorization; LAANC requests can be filed up to 90 days ahead, while DroneZone requests have historically taken up to eight weeks.

Who films fishing charters and boats in Stuart?

Mark Studios films boats, crews and catches at the dock and, when it’s planned with the captain, on the water, along with walkthroughs and brand films for brokers and boatyards. Wide Angle Photo Video lists sport fishing and waterfront real estate among its specialties and has filmed a Treasure Coast fishing tourney. Discover Martin, the county’s tourism site, notes that Stuart and Martin County are often called the Sailfish Capital of the World in fishing circles, a name first used in an outdoors column in 1938.

Who does event videography in Palm City?

Mark Studios films club events, association meetings, fundraisers and parties in Palm City once the club or association signs off, sends a few clips first and then the full recap, and also films practice introductions, golf and tennis lessons and riverside weddings there. DeLucia Media in Stuart covers conferences and competitions with same-week highlights, and Eclipse Videography in Jensen Beach films weddings, quinceañeras and milestone parties. Martin County needs no film permit on private property when the owner agrees, so for a club or community event the sign-off that matters is the club’s or the association’s.

Driven Films or Mark Studios: which is better?

It depends on the job. Driven Films is the better fit for a brand story, a documentary or a studio interview, with a crew of two or three, cinema cameras and a studio on SE Federal Highway in downtown Stuart. Mark Studios is the better fit when the shoot moves around: a charter at the dock or on the water, a waterfront listing, a Palm City club event or a downtown firm’s interviews, with photos from the same visit and every cut edited by Mark on a 5–7 day standard schedule.

Does Mark Studios film weddings in Stuart?

Yes. Weddings in Stuart, Palm City and the rest of Martin County are part of Mark’s coverage: he films and photographs the day on location and edits both himself, and a February 2024 Deerfield Beach wedding came back from one booking as four films and the edited photos. Each wedding gets a written quote; see wedding videography and photography, or Eclipse Videography and Blair Elizabeth Co. above if you want a wedding specialist.
