Dental Care Alliance: a recruiting series in one format
Dental Care Alliance (DCA) is a dental support organization with 390 practices in its portfolio, by its own count. For dentists starting their careers, it launched 5 Questions About Your First 5 Years, short interviews with doctors from the practices it supports. Mark Studios edited the first three episodes in August and September 2026, and DCA posted each one on LinkedIn.

How the work ran.
The brief
Each episode is one doctor, filmed vertically on a single camera, answering questions about the first years of a dental career. DCA sent the footage with written editing notes for every interview: the questions to put on screen, the answers to keep, what to take out, and the text for the cards.
The target was the same each time: a few minutes of interview in, a vertical video of 1:30 to 2:00 out.
What Mark Studios did
- Locked the format on the first episode. A title card naming the doctor and practice, five question cards, a lower third on the doctor’s first answer, captions throughout, a music bed, and a closing card: “Your First Five Years Matter.” DCA then asked for episodes two and three to match it.
- Cut long takes down to the answers. 4:47, 7:29 and 5:36 of footage became videos of about two minutes, with the interviewer’s questions and the pauses taken out. The second interview arrived as two clips of one sitting and was cut as one.
- Used DCA’s own brand. Cards and lower thirds in DCA blue and navy with its logo, from the brand pack DCA supplied.
- Kept to a week. Each episode’s first version arrived inside its seven-day order window.
The result
We don’t have DCA’s LinkedIn analytics, so we don’t quote reach. What the record shows: three orders, all completed, and three episodes posted. DCA launched the series on LinkedIn on August 17, 2026 with Dr. Joe Andringa of Mauthe & Associates, then posted Dr. Olivia Dietrich of Premier Dental of Connecticut on September 4 and Dr. Sam Azab of Racine Dental Group on September 24.
DCA’s launch post called it “a new series featuring doctors supported by Dental Care Alliance sharing their experiences, lessons learned and advice for dentists beginning their careers.”
What this shows
A series only works if episode three looks like episode one. Once the format was locked on the first interview, each new doctor needed only the footage and the notes, and the video came back in the same build. That is how a monthly editing plan runs, and on one you work directly with Mark. More on video for health and dental practices.
