Logitech Mevo Core: eight launch videos, seven live on launch day

Mevo is Logitech’s line of live-streaming cameras. For the launch of the Mevo Core, a 4K camera with a Micro Four Thirds lens mount, Mark Studios edited eight videos in 4K: the hero unboxing and seven setup tutorials. Logitech announced the camera on March 19, 2024, and seven of the eight went live on Mevo’s YouTube channel that day.

How the work ran.

The brief

Mevo Core streams wirelessly and is run from a phone or tablet through the Mevo Multicam app. Mevo needed an unboxing to introduce the camera and a set of short tutorials to walk a new owner through setup.

The tutorials cover connecting the camera to the Mevo Camera app, streaming through Streamlabs Desktop, connecting over cellular, Wi-Fi or Ethernet, the app’s gestures, mixing Mevo camera models, image and lens controls, and using the camera as a webcam. Footage came in video by video, from early February to early May 2024, and the work ran as one project booked directly with Mark Studios.

What Mark Studios did

  • Cut a presenter-led unboxing. It opens on Mevo logo cards, introduces the presenter with a name tag, and times the overhead unboxing shots and product close-ups to what he says.
  • Put the specs on screen in Mevo orange. Feature pills for the size, weight, mounts, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, ports, NDI HX, SRT, the microphones and the six-hour battery, with the ports circled on the product itself.
  • Showed the app beside the presenter. Orange wipes lead into screen recordings of the Mevo apps with the presenter in a picture-in-picture frame, and the video closes on Mevo.com and a subscribe button.
  • Took it to final before launch. All seven launch-day videos were delivered by March 17, 2024, two days before the announcement.
  • Added a vertical cut. The webcam tutorial, finished in June, was delivered in both horizontal and vertical versions.

The result

We don’t have Mevo’s analytics, so we don’t quote reach or sales. What the public record shows is timing: Logitech announced Mevo Core on March 19, 2024, and the unboxing and six tutorials went live on Mevo’s YouTube channel the same day. The eighth, on webcam and UVC inputs, followed on June 17, 2024.

As of October 24, 2026, the eight videos show 44K+ public views on YouTube, led by the tutorial on connecting over cellular, Wi-Fi or Ethernet (11K+).

What this shows

A product launch has a date that doesn’t move. The videos have to be finished, accurate and in one look before the announcement, not after it. Mark Studios edited the full set to one style, in 4K, and had seven of the eight ready for launch day. For a launch or a product library of your own, see corporate video editing; you work directly with Mark from the first cut.

A launch date you can’t move?

Tell Mark what you’re launching and when. He’ll scope the set of videos around your date, and you work with him directly from the first cut.
