Heimdal Security: a new video about once a week, 23 months running
Heimdal sells a unified cybersecurity platform and publishes explainers and a monthly news show on YouTube. From January 2023 to November 2024 it placed 82 orders with Mark Studios, at least one in every one of 23 consecutive months.

How the work ran.
The brief
Heimdal’s YouTube channel carries security explainers, such as “Threat Hunting vs. Incident Response: What’s the Difference?”, and a monthly round-up, Top Cyber News, presented on camera by Antonia Din, the company’s Video Content Manager.
Almost every order was the same job: about five minutes of raw footage in, one finished YouTube video out. 81 of the 82 orders list five minutes of footage; the other was the channel’s intro and outro.
What Mark Studios did
- Kept a weekly rhythm. 81 video orders, placed a median of seven days apart. The longest gap in 23 months was 33 days.
- Gave the news show a clear build. The September 2024 episode above opens on a branded Monthly Cyber News title card, gives each story its own headline card, puts the key figures on screen as big numbers, sets a screenshot of each source statement beside the presenter, and closes on the Heimdal logo card.
- Made the branded pieces around it. An intro and outro in February 2023, refreshed in February 2024 as part of a regular video order. Stock footage and a thumbnail when a video called for them, and a social media cut in April 2024.
- Kept turnaround short. 70 of the 82 orders were due back within five days of being placed.
The result
We don’t have Heimdal’s channel analytics, so we don’t quote views or growth. What the order record shows is retention: 82 orders, every one completed, and no month without one from January 2023 to November 2024.
The work is public on Heimdal’s channel. The Threat Hunting explainer was ordered on May 18, 2023 and went live on May 25; the September 2024 news episode above went live on October 2, 2024.
What this shows
A company that publishes every week doesn’t need a new editor every week. It needs the same format, a short turnaround and nobody re-explaining the brand. That is what a monthly editing plan is for, and on one you work directly with Mark. More on how it fits B2B SaaS and tech teams.
