Our pick

Mark Studios photographs all of them on location, can film on the same visit, and edits the full set in house. Newborn, family, maternity and couples sessions aren’t on its menu; the photographers who run them are grouped below.

  • Restaurants, galleries, shops and events. Food, rooms, owners and staff, products and openings in Lake Worth Beach, plus weddings and galas anywhere in Palm Beach County.
  • Film on the same visit. Add video to the booking and the stills and the footage come from one studio, edited to one look.
  • Mark runs the job himself. Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating, 10,000+ projects delivered and 99% on time.

Photographing in Lake Worth Beach: what to plan for.

Four things that shape a session here, from the county film commission, the City of Lake Worth Beach and a local photographer’s notes, read October 21, 2026.

  1. No lights on the sand after sunset, March to October

Sea turtles nest on Palm Beach County beaches from March 1 to October 31. During those months the county film commission’s conditions for shooting on the beach allow no lights before sunrise or after sunset, and no tripod legs sunk more than six inches into the sand. The city’s rules for beach weddings at the Casino go further: no added lighting or flame on the beach from March through November. A beach session in those months is a natural-light, golden-hour shoot that wraps as the sun goes down, not a flash-lit night portrait.

  2. The Casino complex bans dogs and balloons

The city’s rules for events at the Casino complex allow no pets on the beach or in the Casino building, service animals excepted, and ban balloons, sparklers, fireworks and Chinese lanterns anywhere on the property. Bubbles and bird seed are fine on the sand, the terraces and the courtyard; inside, confetti, rice and glitter bring a $1,000 cleaning fee. The rules also remind renters that these are public spaces, so other beachgoers may be around. Plan the family photo with the dog, or the proposal with a balloon arch, somewhere else.

  3. Commercial shoots on public property need a county permit

The Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission issues permits for productions on public property, from parks and beaches to streets and sidewalks, and deals with the city on your behalf. Its permits are free, take about three business days, and need a $1 million general liability policy. It says no permit is needed for filming only for personal or private use; for a commercial shoot, such as brand photos for a downtown shop on the sidewalk or the pier, ask whether your photographer has one.

  4. Budget for the meter, and for a crowd

The beach lots by the pier charge $4.00 an hour on weekdays and $4.50 on weekends, the city enforces its meters around the clock every day of the year, holidays included, and all beach lots are tow zones from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. The Old Bridge Park lot costs $3.50 to $4.00 an hour. Expect company, too: Photogenic Fox, writing in September 2026 about a maternity session at the pier, found diners and walkers all around it and less room under the pier than she remembered, because the sand there has built up.

Every option, with pros and cons.

Mark Studios is a founder-led studio in Palm Beach County, Florida, and Lake Worth Beach sits in the middle of the area it covers on location, which runs across the county and into Broward and Martin. It photographs brands and the people behind them, products for online stores and menus, real estate, restaurants and hospitality, events, headshots and team photos at your workplace, and weddings, and it can film on the same booking so the stills and the video match. Each image is picked, color-corrected and cleaned up before you get it. In July 2026 the studio photographed and filmed the Sovereign Self-Defense Keep America Armed gala in the PGA National Resort ballroom in Palm Beach Gardens and cut its highlight reel, What Patriotism Looks Like in 2026. In February 2024 it covered a Deerfield Beach wedding, from the first look and an oceanside ceremony through the reception, in four films and a set of edited photos. Its site counts 10,000+ projects delivered and 4,500+ reviews, and Mark is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating and 99% on-time delivery.

Samantha Borgos of Sovereign Self-Defense, whose gala the studio covered: “It has completely changed the way that we do business.”

Pros

  • Photos and film from one booking, edited by one studio
  • On location at your restaurant, gallery, shop, venue or wedding
  • Food, rooms, people and events in one edited set

Good to know

  • Not a family-portrait studio: no family, maternity, newborn or couples sessions (see the family, newborn and portrait group)
  • Quoted per shoot; photo prices aren’t published
  • No studio to visit; it always comes to you
  • Photo delivery time isn’t published; the quote sets it

Where these facts come from: our Palm Beach County photography and Lake Worth Beach photographer pages; the gala is on our event videography page, the wedding on our wedding videography and photography page, and the quote is from our reviews page.

Family, newborn and portrait

How we built this list.

Mark Studios is our pick, and we wrote this list. No photographer paid to be on it, and our own shoots are quoted per project.

Who's included
Google’s first page for “photographer lake worth beach fl”, read logged out on October 21, 2026, is mostly directories and lists: Thumbtack, Yelp, a question-and-answer thread asking for recommended photographers in Lake Worth, and ten-best lists of family and wedding photographers in Lake Worth (Thumbtack’s family page is one of them). From the photographer sites it does show, we took Maykee’s Studio, YB Photography Studio’s page titled for Lake Worth and Captured Moments by Dawn’s Lake Worth newborn page; from the map results, Katie Lewis, Jeff Kolodny, Mariajose and Michelle Lee. Photogenic Fox and Brooksbank Photo, both based in Lake Worth by their own sites, came from searches for family, headshot and event photographers in Lake Worth Beach, Lantana and Greenacres, and Thumbtack’s Lake Worth family page is the marketplace. We left out Flytographer, whose three Palm Beach photo routes are on Singer Island, on Palm Beach island and in Boynton Beach, none in Lake Worth Beach; Snappr, whose Lake Worth and West Palm Beach photographer pages showed “This page could not be found”; Sensational Images Photography, which puts Lake Worth in its site title but works from South Florida, Pennsylvania and Kentucky and lists no South Florida session details or prices beyond a $799 photo booth; Eric Campbell Photography, which has Lake Worth and Lantana pages but is a headshot studio in Fort Lauderdale; DLC Production, a Lake Worth Beach studio that leads with video and whose site still carries template placeholder text; and Jessica Glynn, listed in Lantana, an architectural and interior photographer whose site names Galway, Ireland and Palm Beach. Yelp and the ten-best lists are directories.
What we checked
On October 21, 2026 we read each photographer’s own site for where it works from, the sessions it offers, published prices, delivery and what a session includes, plus Jeff Kolodny’s PartySlate profile for where he is based and Thumbtack’s Lake Worth and national price pages. The planning notes come from the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission’s permit and sea-turtle pages, the City of Lake Worth Beach’s Casino rules and parking rates, and Photogenic Fox’s post on a pier session. Where a photographer’s own pages disagree, the card says so.
How it's ordered
By kind of shoot: family, newborn and portrait; proposals, couples and weddings; business, headshots and events; then the marketplace, alphabetical inside each group. Mark Studios comes first as our pick; nobody else is ranked or scored.
What the data says

The cheapest published sessions near Lake Worth Beach are short or small: $200 buys an hour and five photos of one person at Maykee’s Studio, and $265 a 30-minute Photogenic Fox mini.
