Best-of list

Best photographers in Boynton Beach, FL (2026)

For a Boynton Beach contractor, charter, restaurant, event or wedding, our pick is Mark Studios: Mark photographs finished jobs, crews, boats and restaurants on location, edits every image in house, can film the same visit, and quotes each shoot in writing. For a family or newborn session, which Mark Studios doesn’t run, Tess Ann Photography is based in the city, and Susan Miller publishes her prices, from $350 for an hour-long family session.

How this list works: Mark Studios publishes it and ranks its own service, so this is not an independent review. Every other option’s facts come from its own site, with the date we checked (how we compared).

Our pick

For Boynton Beach jobs, boats, restaurants, events and weddings, hire Mark Studios.

A lot of Boynton Beach business is won on pictures: a roofer’s finished job on the cover of a quote, a dive boat chosen on a phone screen, the view from a waterfront restaurant’s tables. Mark Studios photographs that work where it happens and can film it on the same visit. It doesn’t run family, newborn or couples sessions; the photographers who do have their own group below.

  • Built for proof. Finished roofs, pools, kitchens and landscapes shot in the right light, with matching before-and-afters, plus the crew and the trucks.
  • At the marina and the table. Charter and dive boats, captains and gear at Boynton Harbor Marina, and the dishes and the view at waterfront restaurants.
  • You deal with Mark directly. Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating over 8,000+ orders, and 99% on-time delivery.

Photographing in Boynton Beach: what to plan for.

Four things to sort out before a photo session or a business shoot in Boynton Beach, from the City’s park, parking, event and marina pages, Palm Beach County’s parks and airport pages, the county film commission and the FAA, all read October 23, 2026.

  1. Oceanfront Park: open until 9 p.m., parking by the hour

The City’s beach park, Oceanfront Park at 6415 N Ocean Boulevard in Ocean Ridge, is open every day of the year from sunrise to 9 p.m., with lifeguards from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking costs $3.50 an hour from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., paid through ParkMobile, or with an annual permit, $65 a year for residents and $250 for qualified non-residents; back-in parking isn’t allowed, because the plate has to be visible from the drive lane, and that ticket is $40. The covered pavilions on the lower level can be reserved. The City requires event insurance for a wedding ceremony on the beach, a pavilion reservation for more than 60 people and any permitted event on City property; without your own certificate, you buy it through the City’s GatherGuard program at least 30 days ahead. The City pages we read don’t mention portrait sessions, so for a paid shoot at the park, ask its events team first.

  2. Sea turtle season means no flash on the sand at night

Sea turtles nest on the beach at Oceanfront Park from March 1 to October 31, and the City asks beachgoers to keep all lights off around a nesting turtle, flash photography and phones included, and never to release balloons. For permitted shoots, the county film commission’s conditions go further: no lights on the beach before sunrise or after sunset during nesting season, and tripod legs no deeper than six inches in the sand. Ocean Inlet Park, the county’s beach park at 6990 N Ocean Boulevard by the Boynton Inlet, is open sunrise to sunset and bans balloons outright. Book a beach session for golden hour and finish as the light goes, and leave the balloon arch for somewhere else.

  3. County parks, Green Cay and the film commission

A business photographing a paid session in a Palm Beach County park, whether family portraits, an engagement, a proposal or a birthday, needs the county’s photography permit: $50 plus tax for one session of up to three hours at one park, or $150 plus tax for an annual permit for one photographer, valid January 1 to December 31; allow five business days. Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands, at 12800 Hagen Ranch Road in Boynton Beach, is on the county’s parks list: its 1.5 miles of boardwalk over 100 acres of constructed wetland are open sunrise to sunset, the nature center Wednesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and drones, pets, food, jogging and bikes aren’t allowed. In county parks, pictures for ads, catalogs or magazines count as commercial work and are scheduled through the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission instead, which permits shoots on public property across the county at no charge, asks for three business days and a $1 million general liability policy, and deals with the City for you.

  4. The marina, and the sky above it

Boynton Harbor Marina, at 735 Casa Loma Boulevard half a mile south of the Boynton Inlet, is home to fishing and dive charters, boat and jet-ski rentals and waterfront restaurants. It keeps regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8 to 6 on Fridays and 7 to 6 at weekends, and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily in its January 15 to July 15 season; a shoot on a boat is planned with the captain. For a drone shot of the inlet or a listing, the film commission requires a Part 107 remote pilot certificate, a registered drone under 55 pounds and FAA LAANC approval before flying in Class B, C, D or E airspace at or below 400 feet, and flights only between 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset. Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana is a busy field for planes and helicopters with no control tower, so check the exact address in an FAA-approved B4UFLY app before you fly; Estate Shutter FL says approved altitudes vary grid by grid between the coast near the inlet and the western communities.

Mark Studios photographs Boynton Beach businesses where the work is: finished roofs, pools, kitchens and landscapes in good light, with the before shot taken from the same spot; crews, trucks and equipment for the website, recruiting posts and the Google profile; the boats, captains and crews of the dive and fishing charters at Boynton Harbor Marina; plates, the bar and the view at a waterfront restaurant; owner portraits and team headshots; and ribbon cuttings, fundraisers and launches. It photographs weddings in Boynton Beach too. The studio is founder-led, from Palm Beach County, and shoots on location across the county and in Broward and Martin counties; video can join any booking, and every photo is selected, color-corrected and cleaned up before you get it. Its most recent published shoot was an evening up the county: in July 2026 it photographed and filmed Sovereign Self-Defense’s Keep America Armed gala in the ballroom at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, and cut the highlight reel, What Patriotism Looks Like in 2026. In February 2024 it filmed and photographed a Deerfield Beach wedding, from the first look and the ceremony by the ocean to the reception, and delivered four films with the edited photos. The site’s figures: 10,000+ projects delivered, 4,500+ reviews, Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating, and 99% on-time delivery.

“It has completely changed the way that we do business,” says Samantha Borgos of Sovereign Self-Defense, whose gala Mark Studios photographed and filmed.

Pros

  • Shoots finished jobs at the right hour, with before-and-afters from the same spot
  • Boats, crews and captains photographed dockside at Boynton Harbor Marina
  • Stills and video from one booking, edited by one studio

Good to know

  • Not a family-portrait studio: no family, maternity, newborn or couples sessions (see the family, newborn and beach group)
  • Priced by written quote; no published photo prices
  • No studio to visit; every shoot happens on location
  • No published delivery time for photos; your quote sets it

Where these facts come from: what we photograph in Boynton Beach, our Boynton Beach photographer page; the counties we cover, our Palm Beach County photography page; the gala reel, our event videography page; the Deerfield Beach wedding, our wedding videography and photography page; Samantha Borgos’s words, our reviews page.

Family, newborn and beach portraits

Susan Miller works from a studio in Wellington and keeps a page for Boynton Beach families that offers studio and on-location sessions across the city; it names the beach at Oceanfront Park and the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge as backdrops. An outdoor family session starts at $350 for an hour, with 15 edited images in a digital gallery. A newborn session in the studio costs $500 for up to three hours of shooting, outfits, props and table posing included, and comes back as a password-protected gallery of about 15 images; adding an hour for parents and siblings makes it $600. Her about page adds maternity, senior, pet and engagement photography and holiday mini sessions, and says her photography started in high school, on film.

Pros

  • A price on every session type
  • A Boynton page naming Oceanfront Park and the Loxahatchee refuge
  • Outfits and props included for newborns

Cons

  • The studio is in Wellington
  • About 15 edited images per family or newborn gallery

Suzane Bacelar is a birth, newborn and family photographer and videographer based in Wellington, working in English and Portuguese; her about page says the business is being renamed Made To Be Seen Legacy. Her blog shows one from Boynton Beach: a family with a new baby, filmed and photographed at Green Cay Nature Center and then at home. An on-location session carries a $250 fee, with digital images and prints from $600; in her Wellington studio the fee is $100 and images start at $150, and a full price guide comes by email. Delivery usually takes about four weeks and at most eight, photos first, because she says a film takes 15–20 hours to make; she limits bookings each month.

  • A Green Cay Nature Center session on her blog
  • Session fees on her site

Cons

  • Images and prints cost extra on top of the session fee

Thumbtack’s Boynton Beach page says “There are 146 five star Affordable Photographers in Boynton Beach, FL on Thumbtack,” and getting estimates, messaging pros and booking cost nothing. On October 23 the profiles it showed first were based in other towns, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Delray Beach and Boca Raton among them, so ask where a pro will travel from. Its national cost guide puts the average photographer at $358, usually $265–$483, headshots at $304, portrait photography at $277 and real estate photography at $305, and the Boynton page gives $150–$200 as the national average for a family photographer. None of those is a Boynton Beach price.

Pros

  • Free for customers
  • Several quotes from one request

Cons

  • Its prices are national averages

Zola’s Boynton Beach wedding photographer page lets you filter for photographers based in the city, those who serve it at no extra cost and those who charge to travel, and each listing shows the photographer’s own starting price. On October 23 three listings gave Boynton Beach as their city: Tess Ann Photography, from $1,500; Courtney Rose Photography, from $4,500; and Chelfrich Photos, from $2,900, whose profile now says the photographer is based in Amsterdam. The rest came from Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Greenacres and farther afield.

Cons

  • Weddings only

How we built the Boynton Beach list.

Mark Studios is our pick, and we wrote this list. Nobody paid to be on it. Our shoots are quoted per project.

Who's included
This list was built from directory, venue and provider pages rather than search results. On October 23, 2026 we read Thumbtack’s and Zola’s Boynton Beach photographer pages, Airbnb’s Boynton Beach photographer listings, the preferred-vendor list of Benvenuto, a Boynton Beach banquet venue, and the Boynton Beach pages on the sites of photographers we had already checked for our other Palm Beach County lists, then kept photographers whose own sites put them in Boynton Beach or give the city its own page. Tess Ann Photography and Danielle Imagery are based in the city; Susan Miller, Maicol Photography and Estate Shutter FL have Boynton Beach pages; Suzane Bacelar’s blog shows a Green Cay session; and Jodi Fjelde and Ron Wood are two of Benvenuto’s three preferred photographers. We left out Chelfrich Photos, which Zola lists under Boynton Beach but whose profile says the photographer is now based in Amsterdam; Courtney Rose Photography, also listed on Zola as based in Boynton Beach, whose website blocked our checker on October 23, so we couldn’t read what it offers; Flash Photo & Video, Benvenuto’s third photographer, whose site is a set of galleries with no service details or prices; Eric Campbell Photography, whose Boynton Beach page is the same office-headshot page it runs for other towns from a Fort Lauderdale studio (it’s on our Palm Beach Gardens list); South Florida Headshots, which names Boynton Beach among the towns it serves but shoots mainly in Boca Raton and Delray Beach; and the JCPenney Portraits studio at Boynton Beach Mall, because JCPenney’s Boynton Beach store page now redirects to its store finder and the portrait studio finder showed our checker no studio list, so we couldn’t confirm it is open. Airbnb’s Boynton Beach page lists photographers for a wider South Florida area, several in Miami, with no prices shown. Several photographers with Boynton Beach pages are already on our neighboring lists, so we didn’t repeat them here: Naomi Bluth and Moments by LP (Boca Raton), Captured Moments by Dawn (Lake Worth Beach), The Headshots Company and JS Portrait Studio (Delray Beach), and Flytographer, whose Palm Beach page includes an Ocean Inlet route in Boynton Beach. Danielle Imagery, on our Delray Beach list, is the exception, because she is based in Boynton Beach.

On October 23, 2026 we read each photographer’s own site for where it works from, the sessions it offers, published prices, delivery and what a session includes; Zola’s listings and Thumbtack’s cost guide for their figures; and, for the planning section, the City of Boynton Beach’s Oceanfront Park, parking, event permit and marina pages, Palm Beach County’s photography-permit, Green Cay, Ocean Inlet Park and Lantana airport pages, the county film commission’s permitting, sea turtle and drone pages, and the FAA’s B4UFLY page. Where a site’s own pages disagree, we say so.
How it's ordered
By kind of shoot: family, newborn and beach portraits; headshots, business and real estate; weddings, parties and events; then marketplaces. Alphabetical inside each group. Mark Studios is listed first as our pick; the others are not ranked against each other, and there are no scores.

Frequently asked questions

For a Boynton Beach contractor, marina business, restaurant, event or wedding, our pick is Mark Studios: it photographs finished jobs, crews, boats and restaurants on location, edits every image itself and can add video to the same booking. For family and newborn sessions, which Mark Studios doesn’t run, Tess Ann Photography is based in the city, and Susan Miller and Suzane Bacelar publish their prices and serve the city. For headshots, Danielle Imagery has a studio in Boynton Beach; for listing photos, Estate Shutter FL; for a wedding or party at Benvenuto, its preferred photographers Jodi Fjelde and Ron Wood. More wedding photographers are on our wedding photographer list.

How much does a photographer cost in Boynton Beach?

From the photographers’ own sites: a headshot costs $150 for a 20-minute mini or $200 for a 45-minute studio session at Danielle Imagery, or $275 for an hour at Maicol Photography’s West Palm Beach studio; an hour-long family session starts at $350 and a studio newborn session is $500 with Susan Miller; listing photos start at $199 for a home under 1,500 sq ft at Estate Shutter FL; and wedding or party photography starts at $1,499 for up to six hours with Ron Wood Photo. How much do family photos cost in Boynton Beach?

Susan Miller charges $350 for an hour-long outdoor family session with 15 edited images, $500 for a studio newborn session of up to three hours and $600 with parents and siblings added. Suzane Bacelar charges a $250 session fee on location, with digital images and prints from $600, or a $100 fee in her Wellington studio, with images from $150. Tess Ann Photography quotes on request. Thumbtack puts the national average for a family photographer at $150–$200 and for portrait photography at $277; those aren’t Boynton Beach prices.

Where can you take family photos in Boynton Beach?

The photographers here name a few spots: Susan Miller’s Boynton page lists the beach at Oceanfront Park and the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, and Suzane Bacelar’s blog shows a session at Green Cay Nature Center. Oceanfront Park, the City’s beach park, is open from sunrise to 9 p.m., with parking at $3.50 an hour. Green Cay’s boardwalk is open from sunrise to sunset, with no drones, pets or food. Green Cay and Ocean Inlet Park are on Palm Beach County’s parks list, where a photographer running a paid session needs the county’s photography permit: $50 plus tax for up to three hours, with five business days to process.

Do I need a permit for a photo session in Boynton Beach?

In a Palm Beach County park, yes, if the photographer is being paid: the daily permit is $50 plus tax and the annual one $150 plus tax, and either takes five business days. Photos for ads, catalogs or magazines go through the county film commission, which permits public property at no charge in about three business days with a $1 million liability policy. The City of Boynton Beach requires event insurance for a beach wedding ceremony, a pavilion booking for more than 60 people or a permitted event on City property, but the City pages we read don’t mention portrait sessions, so ask its events team before a paid shoot at Oceanfront Park.

Does Mark Studios do family portraits?

No. Mark Studios photographs Boynton Beach businesses, events and weddings, but it doesn’t run family, maternity, newborn or couples sessions. For those, see the family, newborn and beach group: Tess Ann Photography is based in Boynton Beach, and Susan Miller and Suzane Bacelar serve the city from Wellington. At a wedding or a company event, Mark Studios does photograph the family and group portraits on the day.

How much are headshots in Boynton Beach?

Danielle Imagery, in Boynton Beach, charges $150 for a 20-minute portrait mini, $200 for a 45-minute studio session and $350 for an individual headshot at your location, and delivers within a week. Maicol Photography, 15 minutes up I-95 in West Palm Beach, charges $275 for an hour, with images at $100 each, or $695 for a two-hour Executive Session with three retouched images, delivered within 3 business days; it also brings a studio to Boynton offices. Thumbtack’s national average for a headshot is $304. Mark Studios photographs owner portraits and team headshots on location and quotes each shoot.

Estate Shutter FL prices Boynton listings by square footage: for a home up to 1,500 sq ft, $199 for 30–40 HDR photos, $299 with a slideshow and a floor plan, $399 with 4K video and drone aerials, and $699 with a Zillow 3D tour and social reels, each delivered within 24 hours with no travel fee in Palm Beach County. Thumbtack’s national average for real estate photography is $305. Mark Studios photographs finished roofs, pools, kitchens and landscapes for the contractors who built them, and quotes each shoot.

Can a photographer shoot at Boynton Harbor Marina?

Yes. Mark Studios photographs charter and dive boats, captains, crews and gear dockside at Boynton Harbor Marina, and out on the water when the trip is planned with the captain; underwater shots your own team takes can be color-corrected and added to the set. The marina, on Casa Loma Boulevard half a mile south of the inlet, keeps regular hours from 8 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. at weekends. A drone shot needs a Part 107 pilot and, in controlled airspace, FAA LAANC approval; see the planning section above.
