Best-of list

Best ShortVids alternatives in 2026

ShortVids sells short-form volume by subscription: its $999 Startup plan expects about 30–35 shorts and 2 long-form edits a month, all routed through a project manager. Buyers who look elsewhere usually want to talk to the person editing, thumbnails in the plan, or an easier exit than seven days’ notice. For them our pick is Mark Studios, with monthly plans from $750; Scale covers 4 long-form edits, 24 shorts and 8 thumbnails for $2,700.

How this list works: Mark Studios publishes it and ranks its own service, so this is not an independent review. Every other option’s facts come from its own site, with the date we checked (how we compared). Some Fiverr links here are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no cost to you.

Our pick

Mark Studios is the best ShortVids alternative for most creators and brands.

ShortVids runs on volume and a project manager in the middle: dozens of shorts a month, no line to your editor, no thumbnails on the entry plan and a week’s notice to leave. A Mark Studios plan is smaller and founder-led, with Mark on every video, thumbnails in every plan and cancellation online.

  • Mark, not a project manager. ShortVids’ FAQ says all creative direction goes through your project or account manager and you can’t contact your editor. At Mark Studios you email Mark, who scopes the plan, writes your style spec after month one and checks each video before it goes out.
  • Shorts and thumbnails from the same recording. ShortVids’ $999 Startup plan leaves thumbnails out, and its own table marks Growth’s as limited. Every Mark Studios plan cuts shorts from your long video and designs its thumbnails; Scale, at $2,700, covers 4 long-form edits, 24 shorts and 8 thumbnails a month.
  • Leave when you like. ShortVids wants notice at least 7 days before renewal, processes nothing in the final 4 days and keeps every fee it has charged. Mark Studios plans cancel online from the client portal at any time, with no fee, and work you’ve paid for still ships.

The baseline

What ShortVids sells, and why buyers compare it

ShortVids is a productized agency run by Bforbranding LLC, which lists addresses in Sheridan, Wyoming, in Dubai and in Singapore. Its pricing page, read October 25, 2026, sets out five monthly plans, each capped by how many requests can be in production at once rather than by a number of videos: Startup, $999, with 1 active request; Growth, $2,499, with 3; Creator, $4,999, with 4 on the plan card and 5 in the FAQ; Studio, $7,999, unlimited across 5–7 brands; and Enterprise, $10,000 a month on a custom quote. Its comparison table puts expected output at about 30–35 shorts a month on Startup, 60–65 on Growth, 90–95 on Creator and 100+ on Studio, next to 2, 5 and 10 long-form edits on the first three. Shorts are promised in 24 hours and long-form in 48–72, and a $200 trial buys 4 edited shorts.

The extras arrive plan by plan. Startup has no thumbnails and Growth only basic ones; scripting, content planning and strategy start on Creator; posting begins in Growth’s second month; and filming comes with Creator’s two half-day shoots a month and Studio’s full days. The FAQ sends every request through a project or account manager, with no direct contact with your editor, and gives revision rounds per video as 2 on Startup, 3 on Growth and 4 on Creator, although the Startup card and the terms both say unlimited. To cancel, notice has to arrive at least 7 days before renewal, and fees already charged aren’t refunded.

On sheer volume it is hard to match: no other plan here with dedicated editors publishes that many shorts for under $1,000. Its homepage says it serves 300+ clients; its Trustpilot profile had one review, a TrustScore of 3.7, on October 25, 2026, too few to go on. Buyers who compare it usually want something the active-request model doesn’t give them: the editor on the other end of a message, thumbnails from the first plan, a price per short, or a simpler way out.

Where ShortVids is strong

  • About 30–35 shorts and 2 long edits a month for $999
  • 24-hour shorts, with two editors working six days a week on Startup
  • On-site filming on Creator and above, in 8+ countries on Studio

Why buyers compare it

  • No direct contact with your editor
  • No thumbnails on Startup, and basic ones on Growth
  • 7 days’ notice to cancel, with no refund of charged fees
  • Revision rounds: 2 per video in the FAQ, unlimited on the plan card

Leaving ShortVids: a checklist.

Drawn from the FAQ on ShortVids’ pricing page and its terms and conditions, read October 25, 2026. Most of it is timing: notice, active requests and file retention each run on a fixed window.

  1. Count back 7 days from renewal

Notice has to reach ShortVids at least 7 days before your renewal date, through your project manager, by email or from the Stripe billing page, and nothing is processed in the last 4 days. Its own example: if you renew on the 30th, tell them by the 23rd. Fees already charged aren’t refunded.

  2. Start your last requests before you give notice

Work already in production when you file notice gets finished and delivered. New requests sent after it, even inside the 7-day window, aren’t guaranteed, and queued requests that never started are closed unless you resubscribe within 30 days.

  3. Download everything inside 90 days

The terms say delivered files are kept for 90 days for quick revisions, and long-term archiving is a paid add-on. Save every final export to your own drive before that window closes.

  4. Ask about project files in writing

The pricing FAQ says source and project files come with every plan, while the terms say they’re included on Enterprise or sold as an add-on. If you want a new editor to open the old timelines, confirm with your account manager what you’ll receive.

  5. Don’t hire your ShortVids editor away

The terms ask clients not to solicit or hire the editors and staff assigned to them during the engagement and for 12 months after it, so look for your next editor somewhere else.

  6. Opt out of showcasing, then brief the next editor

ShortVids keeps showcase rights to the videos it makes unless you opt out in writing. Once paid for, the final exports are yours, so pick two or three that show the pacing, captions and hooks you want and hand them to whoever edits next.

Every alternative, set against ShortVids.

Best for: Mark on every short, with thumbnails in every plan and cancellation online

Model
Agency: monthly plan or per project
Stated turnaround
Up to 7 business days per deliverable; first draft in 3 on Unlimited
Revisions
3 rounds on every deliverable
Commitment
Month to month; cancel online any time, no fee

Compared with ShortVids: fewer shorts at the entry price, but you deal with the person who edits them, and thumbnails come with every plan. Mark Santos, a YouTuber since 2011, scopes each plan, turns your first month into a written style spec and reviews the work before it ships, where ShortVids' FAQ puts a project manager between you and the editor. Your shorts are cut from the same recording as your long video, in the look the spec sets, captioned and exported in every aspect ratio you post in. Here is what each plan covers for short-form, from our plans page on October 25, 2026: Starter ($750 a month) pairs one long-form edit with four 9:16 shorts and two thumbnails; Growth ($2,000 a month) is four YouTube videos, each with its thumbnail, title and SEO, plus 8 Shorts cut from them; Scale ($2,700 a month) is four long-form edits with 24 shorts, 8 thumbnails, a monthly content plan and first place in the queue; Unlimited ($3,500 a month) takes as many requests as you send, long-form edits or Shorts, one at a time, each with a first draft inside 3 business days. Unused work carries over one month, and a month you don't record can be paused at no charge. Instead of a paid trial, Mark edits one of your recordings free (up to 15 minutes of footage, delivered finished). Single videos are priced in the instant quote.

Pros against ShortVids

  • You email Mark, who reviews every video; no project manager in between
  • Thumbnails in every plan, from the $750 Starter up
  • Cancel online any time with no fee, instead of 7 days' notice

Good to know

  • ShortVids gives far more shorts for the money: about 30–35 a month on its $999 plan, against 4 on Starter and 24 on Scale
  • Up to 7 business days per deliverable here, against 24 hours per short there
  • Posting and scripts aren't in our plans; posting can be added per video in the quote

None: you pay order by order

Compared with ShortVids: there's no subscription, so there's no renewal date to work back from and no notice to file. You order shorts from a seller gig by gig, at the price, delivery time and revision count that seller lists, and Fiverr adds a 5.5% service fee at checkout, plus $3.50 on any order under $200. That fits a creator who posts in bursts. To match the 30–35 shorts a month that ShortVids expects on Startup, you'd build the volume yourself, one seller at a time, briefing each, though you'd message the editor directly rather than a project manager. Disclosure: Mark Studios sells on Fiverr too.

Pros against ShortVids

  • A quiet month costs nothing, and there's nothing to cancel
  • You message the person who edits your clips
  • Clip editors at every budget and delivery speed

Cons against ShortVids

  • Volume, style and deadlines are yours to manage across sellers
  • No set monthly count or 24-hour standard unless a gig offers one

Hourly or fixed-price contracts

Compared with ShortVids: you hire a person, not a slot in a queue. ShortVids keeps its editors behind a project manager; on Upwork you interview clip editors, watch their past shorts and write the contract yourself, hourly or per batch. The Basic plan adds a 5% marketplace fee to each payment (3% for eligible US clients paying from a checking account) and a one-time contract initiation fee of $0.99 to $14.99; Business Plus charges 10%, or 8%. The trade-off is cover. ShortVids' terms assign backup editors when someone is off, and a single freelancer has nobody behind them when they're booked.

Pros against ShortVids

  • Talk to your editor from the first message
  • Pay by the hour or by the batch of clips
  • Notice and revision terms you write yourself

Cons against ShortVids

  • Marketplace and contract fees on top of the editor's rate
  • No backup editor when your freelancer is away

Set shorts a month

Editvideo.io

Best for: Ten Reels or Shorts a month for less than a fifth of ShortVids' entry price

Model
Monthly subscription (set shorts a month)

Stated turnaround
2 days (1 day on the 50-short Pro plan)
Revisions
Unlimited
Commitment
Cancel any time; credits reset each billing cycle

Compared with ShortVids: a smaller plan with a fixed count and a much lower bill. Editvideo.io's short-form Grow plan is 10 shorts a month for $195 at its limited-time price ($295 regular); Scale is 25 for $395 and Pro 50 for $695. Each short runs up to 90 seconds and is cut from no more than 3 minutes of raw video, which is the catch for podcasters: ShortVids' Startup plan lists clip selection and podcast styles, while these plans expect short source clips. Delivery is 2 days, or 1 on Pro, with unlimited revisions and a dedicated editor. Long-form plans start at $295 for 4 videos.

Pros against ShortVids

  • $195 for 10 shorts, against $999 for ShortVids' entry plan
  • Unlimited revisions on every short
  • A dedicated editor and project management on the cheapest plan

Cons against ShortVids

  • Raw clips capped at 3 minutes, so long recordings need trimming first
  • Credits reset each billing cycle

Splasheo

Best for: The lowest entry price, with clips picked out of your long recordings

Stated turnaround
Within 24 hours; repurposed clips in 2–3 business days
Revisions
Not stated; a picked snippet you don't like is replaced free
Commitment
Month to month; a month's money-back guarantee

Compared with ShortVids: the cheapest way in on this list, priced by the minute instead of by the plan. Splasheo's $99 plan buys 10 credits a month. A standard edit of a short clip you upload uses one credit per minute, and a repurposed snippet it finds inside a podcast, keynote or webinar uses four, with a headline written for each; its FAQ puts that at roughly $10 per edited minute and $40 per repurposed one, more with emojis. Standard edits come back within 24 hours, repurposed clips in 2–3 business days. Credits don't roll over, but you can top up, and a 7-day free trial comes first.

Pros against ShortVids

  • $99 a month to start, against $999
  • Snippets chosen from your long videos, each with its own headline
  • A 7-day free trial and a month's money-back guarantee

Cons against ShortVids

  • Edits stick to subtitles, zooms, emojis and silence or filler cuts; no long-form or posting
  • Unused credits don't carry over

Commitment
Month to month; cancel before the billing date

Compared with ShortVids: a weekly allowance in place of an active-request queue. The Shorts plan is $239 a month, or $209 billed quarterly and $189 billed every six months, for four talking-to-camera shorts a week, each up to 90 seconds, for one brand, back in 3–4 days with one round of revisions; unused weekly edits don't carry over, and a 6-day free trial comes first. Basic Unlimited, $699, averages 12–30 shorts or 4–8 long videos a month with no duration limit and a 15-day money-back guarantee, starting each request once you approve the last. Its main pricing page also lists a Limited plan at $119 a month for four reels a week, delivered in 2–3 days per batch. Its editors work Monday to Friday, 10 to 6 Central; ShortVids lists its Startup editors on six days a week.

Pros against ShortVids

  • Four shorts a week for $239, or $189 a month on six-month billing
  • A 6-day free trial on the Shorts plan
  • Basic Unlimited at $699 sets no duration limit

Cons against ShortVids

  • One revision round on Shorts, and talking-head footage only
  • Weekday hours only, and a missed week's edits are lost

VidChops

Best for: Credits you can split between shorts and long videos each month

Model

Starting price
$495/month for 4 credits (16 shorts or 4 long-form videos)
Stated turnaround
1–2 days
Revisions
3 per video on Weekly; unlimited on Pro
Commitment
No contract; 14-day money-back guarantee

Compared with ShortVids: fewer shorts for half the money, with credits you can divide. VidChops Weekly costs $495 for 4 credits a month, and each credit is either a long video of 5–60 minutes or four shorts, so the plan covers 16 shorts, 4 long edits or a mix. Pro is $995 for 8 credits, up to 32 shorts, with unlimited revisions and an account manager. Turnaround is 1–2 days, and the 14-day money-back guarantee lets you keep the edits. Its FAQ rules out complex 2D or 3D animation built from scratch, offering text animation and calls to action instead, which ShortVids sells from its Creator plan up.

Pros against ShortVids

  • $495 a month, about half ShortVids' entry price
  • Mix long videos and shorts inside the same credits
  • No contract, and a 14-day money-back guarantee

Cons against ShortVids

  • 16 shorts on Weekly, against about 30–35 on ShortVids' Startup plan
  • 3 revisions per video on Weekly, and no custom animation

Billed monthly or quarterly

Compared with ShortVids: the same unlimited-queue idea, with repurposing folded into the price. beCreatives' Scale plan is $1,199 a month, or $999 on quarterly billing ($2,997 a quarter), for unlimited requests and revisions, dedicated editors with an account manager, and real-time Slack with your editor; its FAQ says repurposing long videos into clips has no separate price or per-clip fee. Clips under 90 seconds come back at about one a day on Scale and several a day on Pro, which is $2,299 monthly or $1,999 quarterly. ShortVids names beCreatives on its own comparison pages, so this is the nearest like-for-like option.

Pros against ShortVids

  • Repurposing included, with no per-clip fee
  • Slack with your editor, where ShortVids routes everything through a manager
  • Raw footage up to 50 GB per order on Scale

Cons against ShortVids

  • The $999 price needs quarterly billing, $2,997 upfront

Stated turnaround
1–2 business days (Essentials); 24 hours (Pro)

Commitment
No contract; 5 business days' notice to cancel

Compared with ShortVids: you buy an editor's week instead of a request limit. Essentials is $1,599 a month, or $1,520 on quarterly billing, for a part-time editor at 15 hours a week, and Pro is $2,499 ($2,375 quarterly) for 40; the hours reset weekly and don't roll over. Both come with a project manager and creative producer, unlimited revisions turned around in 24 hours, AI-generated clips, English and Spanish creatives, and Adobe project files you can take over at any time. ShortVids' terms keep project files for Enterprise or sell them as an add-on. Cancelling takes 5 business days' notice. ShortVids compares itself with Edit Crew on its own site.

Pros against ShortVids

  • Adobe project files with every delivery

  • 5 business days' notice to leave, against ShortVids' 7

Cons against ShortVids

None, but prepaid credits expire after 90 days and aren't refunded

Compared with ShortVids: pay per short instead of per month. One vertical video is $94, or $88 each in a 15-pack and $80 each in a 30-pack, with animated captions, motion graphics, stock footage and unlimited revisions included and a 24-hour turnaround, the same speed ShortVids promises. Thirty shorts come to $2,400, well above ShortVids' $999 Startup plan for a similar count, so the reason to choose Tasty Edits is control over volume, not price. Its terms say prepaid credits expire 90 days after purchase and payments aren't refunded, so buy packs you'll use within a quarter.

Pros against ShortVids

  • Buy one short at a time, with no subscription
  • 24-hour turnaround and unlimited revisions
  • Animated captions and motion graphics in every package

Cons against ShortVids

  • 30 shorts cost $2,400, against $999 for about 30–35 at ShortVids

Compared with ShortVids: the step up for big brands, not a cheaper swap. Superside subscriptions start at a $15,000 monthly budget on an annual term, plus a $1,000 a month software fee for its Superspace platform, and the budget pays for design, video, photo, motion, illustration and AI production rather than editing alone. Unused Flex budget rolls over for up to three months, and a Dedicated plan, with the same AI-native creatives every month, starts at $30,000 a month on a 12-month term. ShortVids, which compares itself with Superside on its own site, tops out at $7,999 for Studio and quotes Enterprise from $10,000, both month to month.

Method and disclosure.

We publish this list, and our own studio is the pick. Mark Studios also sells on Fiverr. Nobody paid to be listed. Our row and card show our published plan prices; single projects are quoted.

Who’s on it
Services a ShortVids buyer is likely to weigh for short-form work, each with a public price or a plain way to buy: the three names on ShortVids’ own comparison pages (Superside, beCreatives and Edit Crew), plus short-form plans, per-video and done-for-you services that come up for the same searches and AI answers, and the two largest marketplaces.
What we checked
Each provider’s own pricing page on October 25, 2026, rendered in a browser, with plan tabs and billing toggles opened where prices sit behind them (Tasty Edits’ vertical videos, beCreatives’ monthly billing, The Editor’s Connection’s quarterly and six-month rates, Edit Crew’s quarterly rate) and for sites that block automated reads (Upwork, Fiverr’s help center, Trustpilot). ShortVids’ pricing page and FAQ, terms, homepage and Trustpilot profile were read the same day. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.
How it’s ordered
Mark Studios first, as our pick. The rest are grouped by how you pay: marketplaces, set shorts a month, unlimited requests or editor hours, per-video packages, then done-for-you and enterprise services, alphabetical inside each group and not ranked.

Count the shorts you post, then get a quote.

Note how many shorts and long videos go out in a normal month, which platforms they go to, and how long your raw recordings run. The instant quote turns that into a written monthly price, or send one recording and Mark edits it free.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best ShortVids alternatives?

For most creators and brands, Mark Studios: plans from $750 a month with shorts and thumbnails in every plan, Scale at $2,700 for 4 long-form edits, 24 shorts and 8 thumbnails, and Mark on every video. For the lowest price, Splasheo ($99) or Editvideo.io's short-form plans ($195 for 10). For a set weekly count, The Editor's Connection ($239). For unlimited requests, beCreatives. To pay per short, Tasty Edits or Fiverr. For reels done for you, Increditors.

How much does ShortVids cost?

Startup is $999 a month, Growth $2,499, Creator $4,999 and Studio $7,999, and Enterprise starts at $10,000 on a custom quote (pricing page, October 25, 2026). The plans differ by how many requests can be in production at once: 1 on Startup, 3 on Growth, unlimited from Studio up. Before subscribing you can buy a $200 trial of 4 edited shorts. There's no contract, but notice is due 7 days before each renewal and fees already charged stay charged.

How many shorts do ShortVids plans include?

There's no fixed count, because ShortVids limits active requests rather than videos. Its comparison table sets expected output at 30–35 shorts a month (each under 60–90 seconds) on Startup, 60–65 on Growth, 90–95 on Creator and 100+ on Studio, alongside 2, 5 and 10 long-form edits on the first three plans. Mark Studios plans state their output instead: 4 shorts on Starter, 8 on Growth and 24 on Scale, with thumbnails on every plan.

Is there a cheaper alternative to ShortVids?

Yes, if you need fewer shorts. Splasheo is $99 a month for 10 credits (about $10 per edited minute), Editvideo.io's short-form plans start at $195 for 10 shorts, The Editor's Connection charges $239 for four a week, and VidChops $495 for 16. On volume, though, about 30–35 shorts and 2 long edits for $999 is hard to beat. Tasty Edits ($80–$94 a short) and Fiverr sellers trade the plan for one order at a time.

How do I cancel ShortVids?

Tell your project or account manager, email its support address or use the Stripe billing page at least 7 days before your renewal date; nothing is processed in the last 4 days, and pausing the account takes 3 days. Charged fees aren't refunded. Requests already in production are delivered, new ones sent after your notice aren't guaranteed, and queued requests are closed unless you resubscribe within 30 days.

Is ShortVids or Mark Studios better?

For creators and brands who want the person editing on the other end of an email, Mark Studios: Mark reviews every video, thumbnails come with every plan, and you cancel online at any time; the studio is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating and 99% on time. ShortVids is better when raw volume and speed come first: about 30–35 shorts and 2 long edits a month for $999, each short back in 24 hours.

Is ShortVids legit?

Yes. It's run by Bforbranding LLC, a company with a Wyoming address, and it publishes its plan prices, FAQ and terms, sells a $200 trial and claims 300+ clients on its homepage. Independent reviews are thin: its Trustpilot profile showed one review, a TrustScore of 3.7, on October 25, 2026. Read the notice period and the request rules before you subscribe. Our full ShortVids review covers the rest.
