Best-of list

Best video editing services for small businesses in 2026

Our pick for most local businesses, shops, coaches and consultants is Mark Studios: a price for a single video in the instant quote or a month-to-month plan, every project run by Mark Santos, and on-site filming in South Florida when you have no footage.

Our pick

Mark Studios is the best video editing service for most small businesses.

A small business gets the most from edited video when it pays only for the videos it will post, knows the price before work starts, and has someone who can film when there’s no footage. Mark Studios does all three.

  • Pay per project or per month. Describe one video in the instant quote and see the price before you pay, with no sales call, or pick a month-to-month plan when you post every week. There’s no retainer to fill.
  • Filming when you have no footage. Mark films and photographs on site across Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties, Florida, and travels for shoots elsewhere, quoted per trip, then edits the footage himself.
  • One accountable person. Every project runs through Mark Santos, every order includes 3 revision rounds, and Mark Studios is Top Rated on Fiverr with a 4.9★ rating, 8,000+ orders and 99% on-time delivery.

How to choose a video editing service for a small business.

Get these six answers before you pay anyone to edit your business’s videos.

  • What you’ll actually post. Count the videos you’ll publish in a month, say a Reel a week, one testimonial and a website video, before you compare plans. A plan you can’t fill costs more per video than paying per project.
  • The cost per finished video. Per video, per month, per editor hour or a creative budget: divide the price by the videos you’ll really use, and add marketplace fees (5.5% plus $3.50 under $200 on Fiverr; 5% plus a contract fee on Upwork’s Basic plan).
  • Who films. Most services here edit footage you send. If you don’t have footage, ask who films, where, and what a shoot costs before you compare editing prices.
  • The commitment. Check for quarterly or annual terms, minimum spend and whether unused videos roll over. Superside runs on an annual term, Awesomic’s quarterly plan can’t be cancelled for three months, and Editvideo.io’s unused videos don’t carry over.
  • Revisions and turnaround in writing. Ask how many rounds are included, what counts as one and when the clock starts. “Unlimited” often means one request at a time on business days.
  • Work like yours. Ask for samples in your format, such as an ad, a testimonial or a walkthrough, and send one real project as a paid test before you commit to a month.

How we chose these options.

Mark Studios is our pick, and we wrote this list. We also sell on Fiverr. No provider paid to be listed. Our row shows our published monthly plan prices; a single project is priced in the instant quote.

Who's included
We started from AI answers and Google results for “affordable video editing services for small businesses” and “best video editing agency for small businesses” on October 14, 2026, then kept the services those answers named whose own sites sell video editing and publish prices or plans, plus the two biggest freelance marketplaces. A marketing agency those answers also named was left out because its own site doesn’t sell video editing, as were AI video apps and do-it-yourself tools.
What we checked
Each provider's own website, read on October 14, 2026: price model and lowest published price, turnaround, revisions, commitment and whether it films. Where a provider's own pages disagree, we say so. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.
How it's ordered
Grouped by how you pay: marketplaces, per video, monthly plans, editor hours, then agencies and creative subscriptions. Alphabetical inside each group. Mark Studios is listed first as our pick; the other options are not ranked against each other, and there are no scores.
What the data says

Price was the most common first question in the 698 first messages buyers sent Mark Studios from July to September 2026: 22.9% asked what the work would cost, three times as often as turnaround (7.3%). In 9.8% of 704 conversations, the quote was over the buyer’s budget or the budget was fixed. More in our buyer questions research.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best video editing services for small businesses?

Our pick is Mark Studios: a price for a single video in the instant quote or a month-to-month plan, every project run by Mark Santos, and on-site filming in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties when you have no footage. For the lowest published monthly price, Editvideo.io ($195 a month for 10 shorts or $295 for 4 long-form videos). To pay per video, Tasty Edits ($327 per long-form video). For weekly social clips, beCreatives (from $999 a month billed quarterly) or Clipmasters ($1,897). For an editor’s time each workday, Vidpros ($1,000 for 2 hours a day). For one-off edits, Fiverr or Upwork. Increditors, Awesomic and Superside suit larger budgets.

How much does video editing cost for a small business?

Published prices, checked October 14, 2026: Fiverr’s own guide puts a basic editing job at $65 on average, plus its 5.5% fee; Upwork says its video editors typically charge $6–$25 an hour; Tasty Edits charges $327 per long-form video and $94 per short; Editvideo.io starts at $195 a month for 10 shorts; beCreatives at $999 a month billed quarterly; Vidpros at $1,000 a month for 2 editor hours a day; Clipmasters at $1,897; Increditors’ reels plans at $2,500; and Superside at $15,000 a month on an annual term. Mark Studios prices a single project in its instant quote before you pay.

Is a freelancer or a video editing service cheaper for a small business?

For a single short edit, usually a freelancer: Fiverr’s guide puts a basic job at $65 on average and Upwork lists typical rates of $6–$25 an hour. But you vet, brief and manage each person, and fees are added: 5.5% plus $3.50 under $200 on Fiverr, and 5% plus a contract fee on Upwork’s Basic plan. A service costs more per month but brings a set process, deadlines and revisions in writing. Compare the cost per finished video you’ll actually post.

Do I need a monthly plan, or can I pay per video?

You can pay per video. Mark Studios prices a single project in its instant quote, Tasty Edits sells single videos and packs, and Fiverr and Upwork charge per order or contract. A monthly plan makes sense once you post on a schedule. Most plans here run month to month, but beCreatives and Clipmasters cost less billed quarterly, Awesomic’s quarterly plan can’t be cancelled for three months, and Superside runs on an annual term.

What if my business doesn’t have any footage?

Then you need filming, not only editing. Mark Studios can: Mark films and photographs on site across Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties, Florida, and travels for shoots elsewhere, quoted per trip, then edits the footage himself. Clipmasters points you to its Brandmasters production arm, Awesomic films launch videos in San Francisco, and the other editing services here work from footage you send.

Is Editvideo.io or Mark Studios better for a small business?

For most small businesses, Mark Studios: a price per project with no plan required, month-to-month plans when you post every week, 3 revision rounds, every project run by Mark, and filming in South Florida. Editvideo.io suits businesses that already film and want the lowest published monthly price for a set number of videos: $195 a month for 10 shorts or $295 for 4 long-form videos, with unlimited revisions and unused videos that don’t roll over.

Is beCreatives or Mark Studios better for a small business?

For most small businesses, Mark Studios: you can pay for one video, plans run month to month, and Mark can film when you have no footage. beCreatives suits businesses that post short social videos every week and want unlimited requests worked one at a time, at $1,199 a month, or $999 a month billed quarterly.

What should a small business send a video editor?

The raw footage, your logo, colors and fonts, one or two videos you’d like yours to look like, where it will be posted (Reels, your website, an ad), the finished length and your deadline. Then get the price, revisions and turnaround in writing before work starts. Our free video editing brief template covers the rest.
