Best-of list

Best videographers in Palm Beach, FL (2026)

This list is for the Town of Palm Beach, the barrier island across the Lake Worth Lagoon from West Palm Beach, not the whole county; for that, see our Palm Beach County videographer list. For most island work, from season galas and foundation films to estates, Worth Avenue brands and private-client interviews, our pick is Mark Studios: Mark films and photographs on location, signs your NDA before planning starts, edits every version himself with 5–7 day standard delivery, and quotes each shoot in writing. If you want gala coverage priced in a range, listing video from a public price list, a studio with a full crew or a filmmaker for a wedding weekend at The Breakers, the groups below name who to call.

How this list works: Mark Studios publishes it and ranks its own service, so this is not an independent review. Every other option’s facts come from its own site, with the date we checked (how we compared).

Our pick

Filming on the island? Start with Mark Studios.

Video on Palm Beach follows the season. From late fall to spring, benefit galas fill the ballrooms at The Breakers and the island’s clubs, the cultural institutions run their programs and the Worth Avenue boutiques hold their in-store evenings; the rest of the year brings quieter work for family offices, private banks, designers and the owners of the houses. Almost everyone in front of the camera expects discretion, so Mark Studios settles who appears, what stays out of frame and who approves the cut before the crew arrives.

  • Discreet by arrangement. Your NDA is signed before planning starts, only people who have agreed are filmed, footage stays on private links, and nothing goes out for publication until you approve it.
  • Every cut named before the day. The donor film, the appeal cut, the vertical clips, captions, color and sound are agreed in writing first; standard delivery is 5–7 days, with an expedited date if the thank-you email can’t wait.
  • One editor from shoot to delivery. Mark is Top Rated on Fiverr, averaging 4.9★ across 8,000+ orders, 99% of them delivered on time.

Filming in Palm Beach: what to plan for.

Four things that shape a shoot on the island, taken from the county film commission, the Town of Palm Beach, The Breakers, the Flagler Museum and the FAA on October 23, 2026.

  1. The Town, not the county, permits public property

Across most of the county, the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission issues filming permits for public property at no cost, but its permitting page says it doesn’t issue them for the Town of Palm Beach and sends productions to the Town directly. The Town’s FAQ sets insurance by the size of the shoot: minor commercial filming needs comprehensive general liability of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, primary and non-contributory, while large-scale commercial filming needs $10 million per occurrence with the Town named as additional insured, and the Town Council can raise the limits or ask for more. The certificate isn’t due until the Town Council has approved the filming application, so a shot on a street, sidewalk or beach has a council approval in its path; build that into the date.

  2. Guests on public ground need a special event permit

Bring guests or any setup onto a public street, park or beach and the Town treats it as a special event, permitted by the Town Clerk’s Office, and that includes a small, quick wedding ceremony or engagement at a park or on the sand. The accepted public venues are Bradley Park, the Midtown Public Beach along South Ocean Boulevard between Royal Palm Way and Gulfstream Road, and Peruvian Park/Mayor Lesly S. Smith Park; Lake Drive Park, Memorial Park, Phipps Ocean Park and Phipps Plaza Park are no longer available. Each location hosts one special event a month, granted first come, first served to the first complete application, and the insurance floor is the same $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate.

  3. The Breakers and the Flagler Museum set strict house rules

The Breakers welcomes personal photos and video but prohibits staged portrait, professional or special-occasion photography and filming, such as proposals, engagements and weddings, except at pre-approved, contracted client events; it also bars commercial, promotional or location photography, videography and streaming, recording with smart glasses, and professional gear from gimbals and tripods to lighting, ladders and drones, and security can halt a shoot that breaks the rules. At the Flagler Museum, visitors may take keepsake photos without flash, tripods or any camera support; portrait, wedding, engagement, birthday and graduation sessions aren’t allowed, social media shoots need the Public Affairs Director’s permission at least a week ahead, and the museum’s filming guidelines state that commercial photography and videography aren’t permitted, with journalists considered case by case. For a gala or wedding at either, filming belongs in the event contract.

  4. Drones: Class C, the Mar-a-Lago flight rules area and frequent TFRs

The Town adds no drone permit of its own; its FAQ says drones in town follow the FAA’s and the State of Florida’s rules. The FAA puts DJT, the airport between West Palm Beach and Lake Worth, in Class C airspace, notes a 1 nautical mile Special Flight Rules Area around Mar-a-Lago, and warns pilots to expect frequent temporary flight restrictions for VIP movement and special events, which change often and appear in NOTAMs. A TFR restricts drones as well, and flying inside one means coordinating with the agency it names, where approval typically goes to public safety agencies, first responders and organizations such as the media. LAANC authorization for Class C can be requested up to 90 days ahead; check the TFR list again on the morning of the shoot, and plan a version of the film that works from the ground.

Every Palm Beach option, with pros and cons.

Model
Founder-led studio that films on location on the island: quoted per shoot

Stated delivery
5–7 days standard; expedited available

On the island, Mark Studios films the work the season and the quieter months bring: benefit galas and evenings at the ballrooms and clubs, cut into a thank-you film for donors and next year’s invitations; foundation and appeal films that tell a mission story with dignity; principal and advisor interviews for family offices and private-client firms, made for clients rather than the public; boutique, collection and in-store event films on Worth Avenue and at Royal Poinciana Plaza; and estates filmed for a sale, for the family archive or for a designer’s or architect’s portfolio. Mark will sign your NDA before planning starts, films only the people who have agreed to appear, keeps footage on private links and delivers nothing for publication until you’ve approved it. Hotels and clubs set their own rules for outside crews, so access, load-in and any restrictions are confirmed with the venue before the day, and each event is planned from the run of show. Photos can come from the same booking, and Mark edits every version himself, from the donor film to the vertical clips, captions, color and sound, with 5–7 day standard delivery or an expedited date. The studio is based in Palm Beach County and films on site across Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties. Its nearest published ballroom shoot is up the road in Palm Beach Gardens: the Sovereign Self-Defense Keep America Armed gala at PGA National Resort, filmed and photographed in July 2026 and cut into What Patriotism Looks Like in 2026. A February 2024 wedding in Deerfield Beach was a single booking too, returned as four films and the edited photos. Across all its work, Mark Studios counts 10,000+ projects delivered and 4,500+ reviews, and it is Top Rated on Fiverr at 4.9★ with 99% on-time delivery.

From Samantha at Sovereign Self-Defense: “It has completely changed the way that we do business.”

Pros for a Palm Beach shoot

  • NDA, private links and your sign-off before anything is shared
  • Gala film, donor cuts and photos from one booking
  • Venue access and load-in confirmed before the day

Good to know

  • No published shoot price; each job gets a written quote

Mile 1 Media

Best for: A season gala on several cameras, with a film for the appeal and a cut by the next morning

Model
Palm Beach Gardens production company with a November–April gala service: a price range per job
Published price
Multi-camera gala coverage $3,500–$7,000; aerial from $800; commercials $5,000–$15,000
Stated delivery
Gala cut before the next morning’s thank-you email; 2–3 weeks for a standard project

Mile 1 Media is headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, and its Palm Beach County page gives the island a line of its own: estates, private clubs and Worth Avenue retail, where access rules and filming permissions need handling in advance. Its gala service runs from November to April and is priced on the same page. Multi-camera coverage of the speakers, the room, the donor moments and the awards, with audio taken straight from the board, costs $3,500–$7,000; the section also describes a short film made to play before the ask, cut to a hard runtime the room will sit through, and a cut delivered before the thank-you email goes out the next morning. For the island’s houses it makes property films and aerials of Palm Beach Island estates, and its FAQ says it handles the FAA airspace authorization that a flight near the island needs. Aerial work starts at $800, commercials and ad spots run $5,000–$15,000, and there’s no travel charge anywhere in the county. Outside the gala turnaround, its pricing page puts a standard project at 2–3 weeks, with a 30% rush fee for anything under two.

Pros

  • A published price range for gala coverage
  • An appeal film and a next-morning cut, both described
  • Island estates, clubs and Worth Avenue named

Cons

  • Standard projects take 2–3 weeks; faster costs 30% more
  • Its own FAQ says November to April books heavily

Ed Zak Photo is run from Palm Beach Gardens by Ed Zakarian, a real estate photographer and videographer who is also an FAA-certificated drone pilot and a certificated fixed-wing and helicopter pilot, and his about page counts oceanfront estates in Palm Beach among his work. The property film page for Palm Beach describes a tour that follows a deliberate path from the arrival through the rooms and outdoor spaces, with natural sound and music chosen to suit the house; horizontal films go to websites, YouTube and email, vertical edits to Reels and Shorts, and a version without branding can go to the MLS. Planning starts from the address, access instructions, occupancy and any community or building requirements, along with the light, weather, tide, landscaping or event timing the listing date depends on, and finished photos and video arrive in a project gallery inside its MYSTIC client account. How we built the Palm Beach list.

This is Mark Studios’ list, and Mark Studios is on top of it. No provider paid to appear, and our own shoots are quoted one by one.

Who’s included
Providers whose own sites name the Town of Palm Beach, its venues or its neighborhoods (Mile 1 Media, Quality Media FL, Ed Zak Photo, V1 Real Estate Photography & Video, Beverly Boy Productions and Key Moment Films), KO-MAR Productions across the bridge for studio, commercial and nonprofit work, and two marketplaces, grouped by kind of shoot. We left out what we couldn’t verify or what didn’t fit: Capehart Photography, the long-running studio on South County Road, shows only photography on its site; Davidoff Studios’ domain didn’t resolve; Candid Studios rate-limited our checker all day; C&I Studios’ Sotheby’s estate film doesn’t say where the house is; AH360 Photography’s Palm Beach page is about mainland marinas; and Lux Photo and Video has town pages for West Palm Beach and points north but none for the island. Thumbtack has no Town of Palm Beach page, so its West Palm Beach page stands in, and The Knot and ProductionHub block our checker. Wedding specialists have their own West Palm Beach wedding videographer list, and the Palm Beach County list covers the mainland.
What we checked
On October 23, 2026 we read each provider’s own site for where it’s based, what it shoots on the island, published prices, delivery and what a booking includes, plus Thumbtack’s West Palm Beach and cost-guide pages and Zola’s Palm Beach search. For the planning section we read the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission’s permitting page, the Town of Palm Beach’s FAQ, The Breakers’ guest policies, the Flagler Museum’s visiting page and filming guidelines, and the FAA’s DJT airport, drone TFR and Part 107 airspace authorization pages.
How it’s ordered
By kind of shoot: galas and charity balls; luxury real estate and estates; retail, hospitality and brand; weddings; then the marketplaces, alphabetical within each group. Mark Studios comes first because it is our pick; nobody else is ranked or scored.
What the data says

Published starting points for island work run from $250 for a stand-alone vertical listing reel and $400 for a walkthrough with aerials at V1, through $1,800–$2,500 for Beverly Boy’s raw event tier and $3,500–$7,000 for Mile 1 Media’s multi-camera gala coverage, to $6,500 for a Key Moment Films wedding. Thumbtack’s national averages are $990–$1,260 for a wedding and $900–$1,025 for a typical hire. Three of the nine others don’t publish a price, and venue rules at The Breakers and the Flagler Museum matter as much as the budget. Our Palm Beach County videographer cost guide breaks local prices down by job, and the Palm Beach videographer page shows how a shoot with Mark runs.

Do I need a permit to film in the Town of Palm Beach?

On public property, yes, and it comes from the Town rather than the county: the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission says it doesn’t issue permits for the Town of Palm Beach and sends productions to the Town directly. The Town’s FAQ asks for general liability of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate for minor commercial filming and $10 million per occurrence for large-scale filming, and the certificate isn’t due until the Town Council has approved the application. Any gathering with guests or setup on public property, down to a short ceremony on the beach, also needs a special event permit from the Town Clerk’s Office. On private property, start with the venue’s or the owner’s own rules.

Can I film at The Breakers or the Flagler Museum?

Only as part of an arranged event. The Breakers’ guest policy prohibits professional or special-occasion filming, such as engagements and weddings, except at pre-approved, contracted client events, along with commercial or promotional filming and gear such as gimbals, tripods, lighting, ladders and drones. The Flagler Museum allows keepsake photos without flash or tripods but not portrait, wedding or engagement sessions, and its filming guidelines say commercial photography and videography aren’t permitted; social media shoots need the Public Affairs Director’s permission a week ahead. If your gala or wedding is booked at either, raise filming when you contract the event.

Can I fly a drone over Palm Beach?

Sometimes, and only with planning. The Town asks for nothing beyond what the FAA and the State of Florida require. The FAA puts DJT, between West Palm Beach and Lake Worth, in Class C airspace, notes a 1 nautical mile Special Flight Rules Area around Mar-a-Lago, and tells pilots to expect frequent temporary flight restrictions for VIP movement and special events. TFRs restrict drones too, so check the FAA’s TFR list and NOTAMs on the morning of the shoot, after requesting LAANC authorization, which you can do up to 90 days ahead. The Breakers doesn’t allow drones on its property.

Who films galas and charity balls in Palm Beach?

Mark Studios films benefit evenings from the arrivals and the program to the auction and the room, and cuts a thank-you film for donors plus clips, with photos from the same booking. Mile 1 Media prices multi-camera gala coverage at $3,500–$7,000 and describes an appeal film and a next-morning cut. Quality Media FL covers galas, award nights and sponsor dinners with an edited gallery and recap clips, and KO-MAR Productions makes fundraising event videos and donor spotlights from its West Palm Beach studio.

Mile 1 Media or Mark Studios: which is better?

It depends on the job. Mile 1 Media suits a gala committee that wants a price range in writing before the first call and a crew whose process is built around season galas: multi-camera coverage at $3,500–$7,000 and a cut before the next morning’s thank-you email. Mark Studios suits work where discretion and a single editor matter most, such as a family-office interview, a foundation film, a boutique’s in-store evening or an estate, and events where you want photos too: Mark signs the NDA first, films and photographs on site and edits every version himself with 5–7 day standard delivery.

Does Mark Studios film weddings in Palm Beach?

Yes. Mark films weddings on the island as part of his Palm Beach County coverage, photographing the day as well and editing both himself; a February 2024 Deerfield Beach wedding came back from one booking as four films and the edited photos. Hotels such as The Breakers allow wedding filming only at contracted events, so access is confirmed with the venue first. Each wedding is quoted in writing; see wedding videography in Palm Beach County, or our West Palm Beach wedding videographer list for specialists.
