Best-of list

Best videographers in West Palm Beach, FL (2026)

For most West Palm Beach offices, hosts and couples, our pick is Mark Studios: Mark films and photographs on location anywhere in the city, edits every version himself with 5–7 day standard delivery, and sends a written quote for each shoot. If you need a podcast set, a live multi-camera crew, a listing film or a monthly feed of short videos, the groups below name who to call for that kind of shoot instead.

How this list works: Mark Studios publishes it and ranks its own service, so this is not an independent review. Every other option’s facts come from its own site, with the date we checked (how we compared).

Our pick

Hiring in West Palm Beach? Start with Mark Studios.

Video work in West Palm Beach happens in three kinds of place: the offices in the downtown towers around Clematis Street and Rosemary Square, the ballrooms and halls that fill with conferences and benefit evenings in the winter season, and the open waterfront along Flagler Drive. Mark Studios takes jobs in all three and edits each one itself, so the shot list, the shoot and the final cut stay with one person.

  • Filmed where the work happens. Your office, venue, restaurant or home in West Palm Beach, or anywhere else in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties, with photos taken on the same visit if you want them.
  • Every version agreed up front. The main film, the vertical cuts, captions, color and the sound mix go in writing before the shoot; standard delivery takes 5–7 days, and expedited delivery is available.
  • Mark edits what he films. He's Top Rated on Fiverr, with a 4.9★ average from 8,000+ orders, and 99% of those orders arrived on time.

Filming in West Palm Beach: what to plan for.

Four things that change a shoot in the city, from the county film office, the City of West Palm Beach, the FAA and the Federal Register, read October 21, 2026.

  1. Streets and parks: a free county permit

Filming on public property in the county, from parks and beaches to streets, sidewalks and public buildings, is permitted by the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission at no cost to production. Allow three business days for a standard permit, and have a $1 million comprehensive or commercial general liability policy ready ($5 million if the shoot has stunts or special effects). Private property can need a permit too if filming affects the roads or sidewalks beside it. One trap for West Palm Beach shoots: the commission does not issue permits for the Town of Palm Beach across the Intracoastal, so a shot on the island goes through the Town itself.

  2. Gathering people on city property is a special event

If the shoot is itself an event on city property, such as a rally, a market or any gathering likely to draw 50 or more people, the City treats it as a special event. Applications are due six weeks before the date (three months for high-impact events, and the City recommends a year), come with a $50 check, a site plan and a parking plan, and take about two weeks to review. Events on private property go through the City's Development Services instead, and events inside the Palm Beach County Convention Center fall outside the special event rules.

  3. Saturday mornings belong to the GreenMarket

The City says its Community Events Division produces over 600 events a year along the waterfront. One of them fills every Saturday morning: the West Palm Beach GreenMarket at Waterfront Commons, 100 N. Clematis Street, runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays from October 3, 2026 to May 22, 2027. Plan a quiet waterfront or Clematis Street shot for a weekday, or check the city's events calendar before you book a Saturday.

  4. Drones: Class C airspace and frequent flight restrictions

The airport between West Palm Beach and Lake Worth, renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT) from Palm Beach International, sits under Class C airspace from the surface to 4,000 feet within a 5-mile radius; the FAA's airspace descriptions took the new name on July 9, 2026, without changing the airspace itself. Commercial drone work there needs a Part 107 remote pilot and LAANC authorization, which the FAA lets you request up to 90 days ahead, and the county film office asks for a copy plus at least three full business days. The FAA also warns pilots to expect frequent temporary flight restrictions for VIP movement and special events around the airport, so keep a ground-level plan in case one lands on your shoot day.

5–7 days standard; expedited available

In West Palm Beach, Mark Studios films partner and advisor interviews in downtown offices, recruiting and brand films, conference and seminar recaps, benefit evenings in the winter season, restaurant and venue content, and weddings. The studio is based in Palm Beach County and films on site across Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties. For a season evening, its nearest public example is up I-95 in Palm Beach Gardens: the Sovereign Self-Defense Keep America Armed gala, filmed and photographed in the PGA National Resort ballroom in July 2026 and edited into What Patriotism Looks Like in 2026. A February 2024 wedding in Deerfield Beach came from one booking too, as four films plus the edited photos. Site-wide, Mark Studios counts 10,000+ projects delivered and 4,500+ reviews, and it is Top Rated on Fiverr at 4.9★ with 99% on-time delivery.

Samantha of Sovereign Self-Defense, on working with Mark: “It has completely changed the way that we do business.”

Stated delivery
Event recaps in 5–7 business days; full session recordings within 3 days; same-day social clips

Candid Studios has filmed corporate events since 2016 across Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Texas, Illinois and New York, and its West Palm Beach page says the city is served by that multi-state team rather than by a single local operator. For a conference, launch, awards night or gala, its standard event package covers the keynotes and ceremony on several cameras, attendee testimonial interviews, a 2–3 minute recap and speaker clips edited to stand alone. Two or three cameras is standard and large keynotes can take four or more; it can also run a multi-camera live stream to Zoom, YouTube or LinkedIn Live. Recaps arrive within 5–7 business days, full session recordings within three days, and social clips during the event itself. Event prices follow the schedule, locations and crew size; for business video it publishes a range from $2,500 for a simple testimonial to $15,000+ for a brand film, with most mid-market projects at $3,500–$7,500 and two rounds of revisions included.

Pros

  • Speaker clips and full sessions as well as a recap
  • Clips delivered during the event
  • Multi-camera live streaming

Cons

How we built the West Palm Beach list.

We are Mark Studios, we made this list, and we put ourselves first. No company paid to be on it, and our own shoots are priced per quote.

Who's included
Companies that Google's map results showed for videographer searches in West Palm Beach on October 19 and 20, 2026, plus companies whose own sites name the city, grouped by the kind of shoot each suits, and two freelance marketplaces. We dropped what we couldn't verify: Mi Media's West Palm Beach page is a version of its Miami and Fort Lauderdale pages from a Hollywood, FL company and shows no work in the city; Eman Films is based in Orlando and its city page shows no local work; Elite Video of West Palm Beach's site has template text and a placeholder address; and we couldn't match the map listings for South Florida Videography and Video Productions to a website. The Knot, Yelp and ProductionHub are directories, and ProductionHub's West Palm Beach page lists mostly Miami and Fort Lauderdale profiles, so Thumbtack and GigSalad are the marketplaces. Our West Palm Beach production companies and wedding videographers lists cover more studios in those two lanes.
What we checked
On October 21, 2026 we read each provider's own site for its base, the shoots it takes, published prices, delivery times and what a booking includes, plus NickFlicks' Zola listing and the Thumbtack and GigSalad city pages. For the planning section we read the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission, the City of West Palm Beach's event permit pages and special event package, the FAA's airport and drone authorization pages, the Federal Register notice on the airport's airspace, and the Palm Beach County Convention Center's audio-visual page.
How it's ordered
By the kind of shoot: conferences and live events, studios, business and social content, real estate, weddings and family celebrations, then the marketplaces, alphabetical within each group. Mark Studios comes first because it is our pick; nobody else is ranked or scored.
What the data says

Published starting points in West Palm Beach run from $275 for a corporate video in Creative Video Production's online store (its GigSalad listing starts at $350) and $1,000–$5,000 for a short video at LGW Mediaworks, to $1,750 for a photo-and-video celebration at Ray Photography and Video, $1,500–$2,400 for a wedding film at NickFlicks and $2,500 a month for Seaside Media's smallest social package. Candid Studios puts business video at $2,500–$15,000+, and Thumbtack's national averages are $500–$760 for an event and $990–$1,260 for a wedding. Our Palm Beach County videographer cost guide breaks local prices down by job, and the West Palm Beach videographer page shows how a shoot with Mark runs.

Where can I record a podcast or shoot green screen in West Palm Beach?

Two studios on this list rent space in the city. LGW Mediaworks has a 270-degree cyclorama curtain in green, black or white, three semi-permanent sets, a green room with hair and makeup and a control room, and rents for podcasts, live streams and video shoots. KO-MAR Productions, on Banyan Boulevard, has a 6,000-square-foot studio with a 36 x 42 ft hard cyc and a 20 x 20 green screen for larger productions. Mark Studios has no studio and films at your office or venue instead.

LGW Mediaworks or Mark Studios: which is better?

It depends on where the shoot happens. LGW Mediaworks is the better fit when you need a set: a podcast, a green-screen piece or an interview series filmed in its West Palm Beach studio. Mark Studios is the better fit when the video belongs where the work happens, such as your office, your event, your restaurant or your wedding: Mark films and photographs on site, agrees every version before the day, and edits it himself with 5–7 day standard delivery.

Do I need a permit to film in West Palm Beach?

For streets, parks, sidewalks and other public property, yes: the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission issues the permit at no cost, needs three business days for a standard one, and requires a $1 million general liability policy. Private property can need one too if filming affects the roads or sidewalks next to it. The commission doesn't permit the Town of Palm Beach across the Intracoastal, and a shoot that gathers 50 or more people on city property is a City special event, due six weeks ahead.

Can I fly a drone over downtown West Palm Beach?

Only with authorization. The airport the FAA now lists as President Donald J. Trump International Airport, formerly Palm Beach International, sits under Class C airspace from the surface to 4,000 feet within five miles, so a commercial flight needs a Part 107 remote pilot and LAANC approval, which can be requested up to 90 days ahead. The county film office wants a copy of that approval and at least three business days, and the FAA warns of frequent temporary flight restrictions for VIP movement around the airport.

Can a videographer film my conference at the Convention Center?

Yes. The Palm Beach County Convention Center lets clients and exhibitors bring their own audiovisual providers, but extensive power distribution and all rigging are the building's own services and are ordered through it. Events inside the Convention Center also sit outside the City's special event rules. For conference coverage, compare Candid Studios' recaps and session recordings, KO-MAR's live multi-camera crews and Mark Studios, which films the sessions and edits the recap and clips itself.

Does Mark Studios film weddings in West Palm Beach?

Yes. Mark films and photographs weddings on location across Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach included, and edits the film and photos himself; a February 2024 wedding in Deerfield Beach came back as four films plus the edited photos from one booking. Each wedding is quoted in writing. See wedding videography in Palm Beach County, or compare specialists on our West Palm Beach wedding videographer list.
