Monthly Video Editing Plans: How Ongoing Editing Works
A monthly video editing plan gives you the same editor, a set number of videos per week or per month, and a style sheet that keeps every upload consistent. You send footage on a schedule, your dedicated editor works through your queue, and delivery lands on a fixed cadence. Plans are scoped to your volume and quoted upfront, never billed by the hour.

What you get on a monthly plan
The same editor
A dedicated editor who learns your style, brand and recurring assets, plus a project manager and a direct line.
A fixed cadence
Weekly or bi-weekly batches are the usual rhythm. Weekly clients get a dedicated editor slot, so delivery times stay consistent.
A style sheet
Your pacing, captions, color, music, lower-thirds and intro written down once as a brand profile, so no video needs re-briefing.
A priority queue
Monthly plans include a priority queue, so your videos are scheduled ahead of one-off work.
Rush built in
For monthly clients, rush turnaround is built into capacity rather than depending on who is free that week.
Simple billing
Billed monthly in advance, Net-15 terms for established clients, and a fixed quote in writing before the first month.
Common monthly setups

| Setup | Example cadence | What you send | Start here |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube channel | 1–2 long-form videos a week | Raw footage per episode plus references | YouTube video editing |
| Long-form plus shorts | 1 long video a week and 5–15 clips cut from it | Only the long-form footage | Short-form video editing |
| Reels for a business | A weekly batch of Reels | A monthly shoot or phone footage | Instagram Reels editing |
| Faceless channel | Several videos a week | Scripts and voiceovers | Faceless YouTube editing |
| Online course | Lessons in batches of 5 | Recorded lessons and slides | Online course video editing |
| Agency client work | A set volume per client, delivered unbranded | Footage and each client's brand kit | White-label video editing |
What "unlimited" usually means elsewhere
"Unlimited video editing" is almost never unlimited output. The word describes how many requests you can submit, not how many videos come back. Before you sign any plan, ours included, check which of these caps applies:
- One active request at a time. You can queue as many videos as you like, but only one is being edited; the next starts when you approve the last. Output is capped by the round trip, not the queue.
- A daily hours allotment. Plans sold as a number of editor hours per day, so "unlimited" means whatever fits in those hours.
- Length and complexity limits. A ceiling on raw footage or finished runtime per video, with motion graphics or long-form charged extra.
- Revisions in the same queue. A revision counts as a request and waits its turn, which slows everything behind it.
Questions worth asking: how many finished videos did a typical client get last month? Do I keep the same editor? What happens to my queue during a revision round? Our breakdown of unlimited subscriptions vs per-video pricing has the math, and our video editing statistics cover what editing costs across the market.
We don't sell "unlimited". Each monthly plan is scoped to a stated number of deliverables, so you know what comes back each month before you pay.
How to start a monthly plan
- Get an instant quote with your volume. For example: "two long-form videos and ten Shorts a month." We confirm the timeline within one business day.
- Send the first video's footage and 2–3 references. See how to send a reference, or use the free brief template.
- Set the style. The first cut lands within 5–7 days of a complete brief and payment, often in 3–4. Your revision notes become the style sheet. Most clients land on a consistent style within 2–3 videos.
- Run the cadence. Send footage on your schedule; the same editor delivers against the same style sheet, every week.

Monthly video editing: frequently asked questions
A monthly plan is ongoing editing scoped to a set number of videos per week or month. You get a dedicated editor, a project manager, a style sheet for your channel and a priority queue. You send footage on your schedule and delivery lands on a fixed cadence, without re-briefing every video.
Yes. Monthly clients get a dedicated editor who learns your style, brand and recurring assets, plus a project manager. For one-off projects we still match by content type, so your second project with us already feels more yours than your first.
As many as your plan is scoped for. Each monthly plan covers a stated number of deliverables, for example one long-form video a week plus the Shorts cut from it. Tell us your cadence in the instant quote and we scope the volume, footage length and turnaround before you commit.
No. Each plan is scoped to a stated volume, because unlimited plans elsewhere usually cap output another way: one active request at a time, a daily hours allotment or a length limit. If you want unlimited revisions for a flat fee, we're not the right fit, and we'd rather say so before you start.
Yes. Most of our clients run a long-form plus shorts engine, and we structure the workflow so the same footage powers both at once: the long video is edited first, then the best moments become Shorts, Reels and TikToks for the rest of the week.
Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance, and established clients can move to Net-15 terms. We accept Stripe, credit card, ACH, wire and PayPal; card data never touches our servers. You get the scope and a fixed quote in writing before the first month starts, never an hourly bill.
You get a quote and timeline within one business day, and an editor matched to your content type, usually within 1 business day of scoping. The clock on the first video starts once the brief, footage and payment are in: the first cut lands within 5–7 days, and most projects deliver in 3–4.
