The Short Answer: Real Estate Video Editing Cost
Editing a real estate listing video from footage you already have costs about $45–$140 per video at the services that publish a price in 2026. A vertical reel adds about $29 as an add-on or runs $94 on its own, a drone edit is about $60, and a long-form agent video is about $278–$327. If you need the home filmed too, a local walkthrough shot and edited runs about $200–$500.
Those are market numbers, not ours: Mark Studios quotes each project, so there is no Mark Studios price on this page. Every figure links to the page that published it, checked October 8, 2026.
The demand is real, and so is the gap. NAR data collected on our real estate video statistics page shows 52% of REALTORS® say they use drone photo or video, while only 12% of sellers say their agent used video. Agents feel it: one asked a Realtors forum, "I am not a video editor so I would need to pay someone if I start having videos for my listings." This page is what that someone costs.

The pattern: a short walkthrough edited from your footage is a commodity, priced like one. The money moves with length, formats and how much footage you send. For a side-by-side of these services and more, see our list of the best real estate video editing services.
What Moves the Price
- Final length. Most listing prices assume a 60-second cut. CloudPano's drone edit charges $20 for every 30 seconds past 3 minutes.
- Raw footage volume. PhotoUp adds 3 credits per extra minute of raw footage, and CloudPano charges $10 per 5GB over 20GB on drone uploads.
- Drone footage. Editing it is cheap. Filming it isn't, because a commercial drone flight needs a pilot with an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate under Part 107.
- Formats. An MLS-friendly master, a branded version and a vertical reel are three deliverables. Phixer sells the reel as a $29 add-on, and Cut Pro Media quotes a multi-platform package (16:9 MLS master, 9:16 and 1:1) separately.
- Music. Most services include licensed music, so check before you pay for it twice.
- Revisions and turnaround. Published turnarounds run 12–48 hours. Revision rules range from one round on CloudPano's drone edit to "unlimited" at Cut Pro Media.
Before you order, send the editor the room order, the three features the listing sells on, your logo and contact card, and say which versions you need. That saves the most common paid revision: a reshuffled tour.
Edit Only, or Shoot and Edit?

If you or your photographer already shoot, the services above are the cheap route, and the editor can be anywhere. One agent on the same forum said, "I do a video a week and have an editor in the Philippines. I found him on Upwork." If that's your plan, here's how to hire a video editor on Upwork, and Fiverr vs Upwork vs an agency runs the fee math.
If you need the home filmed, you're buying a shoot plus an edit. In Palm Beach County, walkthrough videos filmed and edited run about $200–$500, per the published local prices in what a videographer costs in Palm Beach County. Mark Studios films listings and agent content on site across Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties (on-site videography), and edits footage from agents anywhere through our real estate video editing service.
Our inbox sees both kinds of request: real estate came up in 24 of 698 first messages from buyers.
Is a Listing Video Worth It?
It depends on the market and the listing. On realestate.com.au, REA Group measured 43% more inspection requests for listings with a video, and NAR's survey found 29% of buyers rate listing videos very useful, against 83% for photos (both on our real estate video statistics page). Photos come first. Video earns its cost on the listings where the walkthrough sells something photos can't: the flow of the floor plan, the view, the neighborhood.
The Bottom Line
A listing video edited from your own footage costs about $45–$140 in 2026, with reels, drone edits and long-form agent videos priced on top. Length, raw footage and the number of formats move the price more than anything else. Shoot it well, send a room order, and ask for every version you need in the first quote.
